"I’ve been thinking about leaving a review since I went in for my appointment & finally decided to go ahead and do it. I initially went in for a consultation which I admit was unconfirmed, but I wasn’t used to the booking system & offered to reschedule. Jazz was able to still go ahead and meet with me & my 3 year old daughter who this appointment was predominantly for. I asked about my daughter’s hair & we discussed what we would do as far as a wash, condition, oil/moisture treatment, trim, & twisting her hair. At no point during this consultation did she tell me that she generally does not work with children. I bring my daughter in later that week & felt as though Jazz was frazzled from the start. I could be wrong but just felt as though she was uncomfortable with the situation or had something else to do. She washed & conditioned her hair, I had to ask about a moisture treatment before she decided to throw something in and let her sit for 10 minutes. We moved to the trim/style portion. There was no prep before she tried to detangle and just tried to comb a 3 year olds hair and expected her not to be uncomfortable. Even then she didn’t jerk her head away or try to run away, but it was at that time that she let me know she wouldn’t be able to move forward & that she usually “vets” the children she works with. I allowed her to trim her hair wet which I wasn’t a fan of but I should have spoken up instead of just allowing her to do it because I figured she was the professional, but wish more guidance or information was given about it. If you do not work with children I think the appropriate thing to do would have been to let me know that at my consultation which I paid for and got no guidance to the appropriate stylist or suggestions at all instead of waiting until we’re at an appointment where now we’re all tense because you’re not prepared to deal with a child who may be just as uncomfortable (since it was her first time in a salon) as you are in dealing with an adult who doesn’t work with children. I hope this helps someone in the future, because I have since gotten my daughter’s hair done from someone who was understanding of the fact that she is a child & my daughter sat there comfortable/patiently."

"I have tried to book with this salon on several occasions. My appointments were cancelled twice and no reason was given, nor was I contacted to schedule an alternative day and time. When you call, no one answers and you are directed via the voice mail to book online for faster service, but when you select a service online you get a message "Oops something went wrong". It's too much work to get an appointment at this salon which is a look into what service may be like. So, I'll pass."

"First of all convenient location. Second the staff top quality. Couldn't complain if I wanted to. My stylist Jazz was a pleasure. She made sure I was comfortable everything was ready and took time to explain my process and everything going forward. Everybody loves my hair what can I say once again she's AWESOME!!
