"She can cut basic hair, but she's better with middle-aged styles. Unfortunately, she can't make you look younger or design a haircut that suits your face. I'm disappointed because I have to wait for my hair to grow back after a bad cut. Sigh, She struggles with gradually layering hair, resulting in uneven layers. also communicating is hard because her english is limited. maybe she tried her best, but just incapable to skillfully cut hair with smooth, even layers. Please try to learn to improve your skill."

I don't do anything fancy with my hair, but the owner always styles my hair to curl the ends with a hairdryer and round brush before I leave, something I did not know to ask for or expect. I always walk out the door feeling satisfied, cared for, and confident in my fresh cut."

"Best Asian Male Perm!! I have gotten a couple of wavy perms with Young now and it is hands down the best I can find around here, and comparable to the perms I had gotten when I lived in LA. The owner is the only hairdresser (as of summer 2023) and she is very busy so you should definitely make a reservation. Overall, very skilled perms w/ haircut at a very reasonable price!!"
