"I have been using Home Depot rental for over 10 years!! Nothing but good vibes to Ol’ Man Dave, Bruce, Drew and Night Shift guy Joe. They will take care of you at Southtown Home Depot. Now don’t get me wrong, I won’t mention these few names, but I was and have been treated with disrespect and wrong business ethics but after the relationship I have built over the years with the Managers, with a simple explanation the problem is always fixed or we agree on a deal. Thanks Southtown!!"

"Be careful with rentals. I just returned a van I rented from this location. The store associate from the tool rental counter came out and immediately pointed to damage on the side of the van which was present when I rented it and asked what I ran into. It was almost as if he knew the damage was there. No walk around or docunentation of damage was done either when I rented or returned the vehicle. I assume they plan on charging me or submitting a claim on my insurance for damage that I didn't cause. The store associate tells me he will check with the guy that rented the vehicle to me earlier in the day, but regardless of how this turns out they clearly have completely inadequate policy on documenting damage on rentals at either the point of return or rental. I will never rent from this Home Depot again, and I'm unlikely to shop there in general due to this bitter experience."

"i called the rental department on 7-20-2013 and asked about a brush hog. the guy told me how much it was to rent. i asked him how wide the cut on it was and his response was 'i dont know, two feet?' didnt bother to check and give me a difinitive answer. he just took a guess at it. great job."
