"I will never come back! If you don’t speak Spanish, run. I made an appointment for an updo. Over the phone I was told that updos starts at $35. when I arrived, no one was waiting for me. They were so confused and tried to give me a haircut instead. After clarifying, I showed photos and a 1min video tutorial of the updo style I wanted. I asked how much it will cost and they didn’t tell me a number. They said I would be around $45 because I had medium hair. They didn’t have a curler… the lady had to go in her car to pick up a very old and grossed hair curler taped in painters tape. No one spoke English to understand the instruction! I literally had to try my Spanish as they don’t even make an effort to hide their rudeness towards non Latino clients (bad mouthing in Spanish). I showed the tutorial several times to ensure she understood what I wanted… at first they were not even paying attention. The bobpins were old and grossed. I have black hair and she used yellow pins for blond hair. While the service was being finalized, my husband who doesn’t speak Spanish, came to pick me up, he was told to pay $80 and ended up tipping her $20 without knowing my experience as we were in a hurry. The updo fell down after 2 hours. I will never come back. I really felt it was a scam by giving a different price to him, by being dirty and not being prepared to attend appointments. We paid and tipped but we will never come back."
