"Self checkout is mostly empty while have to wait on normal checkout because they won’t let me self checkout with 12 items. This is stupidity. Also my baby is screaming."

"It is not a good look to not clearly and visibly post that your self checkout is 10 items are less, have staff members chatting at the customer service desk while the checkout line is 7-8 people deep/20 minutes long, and staff is turning people away at the self checkout because they have more than 10 items. Interesting how staff stopped chatting and scrambled to open additional lines when someone called them out."

"I want to start by saying thank you so much Julia for not only the hug, but completely making my day. I've only lived here for a short time, but every time I have went into the store you guys do so much to make my day and my life easier I have even had somebody offer to pay for my groceries because I cannot find my card. "Overall the store seems well put together and friendly. Will say my experience today with the manager in self check out was interesting. She was very rude towards others and not just myself, and had an issue using certain common curtesies such as “please” and “thank you” when ordering customers about. I don’t curse often, especially to strangers but I’d liked to have called her a C$nt before leaving if I’d not have been banned for doing so. Very very rude. Tall skinny-ish, old lady. With died hair."

"I must say that I was somewhat disappointed in this Schnucks location. It was my very first time at this one. And unfortunately, despite having been to a number of different Schnucks locations, and having a pretty great experience, this one kind of fell short. I'll begin with one positive thing: I was glad to see that this location, as well as many others, had finally installed credit card chip readers in the self-checkout areas. Thanks for doing that! Additionally, I will say that the general, overall impression of this site regarding its interior was not bad. However, the places where they fell short, they feel VERY SHORT, in my opinion. For example, the first thing that annoyed me was the fact that their Deli area was way in the back of the store! Who puts the deli in the back of the store??! I honestly did not even consider the deli when I first went in there, because I expected to see it in the same location they generally appear to be at in all Schnucks locations. However, that did not prove true for this site. And it wasn't until I had walked through the entire store and sort of haphazardly happened upon it, that I realized I was in the back of the store and encountering the deli for the 1st time that I realized I was seeing the deli in the back. Furthermore, you will see from my pictures that there were a few shelves that were kind of disheveled and some others that were empty and missing items. Some of the food in the deli area was also very old looking and in disarray. I was also disappointed to find, yet another Schnucks location, that no longer sold the large gallon of Lactaid skim milk. I have no idea why the company has removed that item from the shelf. Additionally, the meat and seafood areas we're not exactly up to par, either! Generally speaking, whenever I go to the meet / Seafood areas at Schnucks locations, I can usually find quality, fresh cuts of meat and seafood. Again, this location fell short of that standard. If you don't believe me, look at the pictures and you'll see for yourself. In closing, I'll say that while there were some things that annoyed me about this location---resulting in my choosing to give them three stars as opposed to four or even five---I still did not have a terrible experience. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. Albeit, I struggled to find help when I initially needed it for something. I'm not sure why none of the floor workers were avalabke that day."
