"Decent braids, terrible customer service. I called a week in advance and asked if she could do simple corn rows and she said she could but never gave me a time. I texted the Thursday before my appointment asking again what time, I could see that she read it but never replied. I called on Friday to again ask what time, she told me she would call back. Saturday morning, I called again and she told me that she had over booked and couldn't actually do my hair. But I could reschedule. She did a good job the first time I went but not good enough to put up with the run around."

"I called the day before to make an appointment. I got there on time the following day but the doors were locked. I called the facility six times with no answer. Thirty minutes later Vickie calls back and acts she doesn't remember the appointment though she is the one I spoke with. I'll never try them again. I had rearranged my entire day for my appointment because the earliest they had was at 5:30 pm. So unprofessional."

"This is the worst braid shop. I was going to Vicki for years. But one day she messed me hair up ,and braided my hair so tight that I received some hair loss. Then she refused to give all my money back. But I called the state of cosmetology and filled a complaint. Come to find out she had an expired hair license for for more than 10 years. Plus Vicki business license had expired for more than 10 years as well. Please beware of this shop. Vicki do not care about African American’s ."

"I strongly suggest to anyone who has hair shoulder length or longer is to make sure you are facing the mirror when they are working on your head. The longer and thicker your hair is the more time it takes for them to do it and they employ a comb which has some sort of razor in it. Usually it takes upwards of 10 hours to do my hair in kinky twist, they were done with my hair in 6. When I got home I started taking it down and my hair was not as long as when I first arrived. Ladies, just make sure you can see what they are doing."
