World Star Nails and Spa

"I have been going to World Star Nails for about three years now (wow- time flies). It is always clean and the staff is super friendly. Fiona & Kelly are the best nail technicians at World Star (although I have had others and they are good too). Fiona has been doing my fills for years and always does an excellent job. Has a good eye for color. Kelly is great at no chip manicures and pedicures as well. I highly recommend making an appointment- especially weekdays after work hours and weekends."

"I love this place and have been coming for years. As with any nail salon, I’ve learned that you have to go through some trial and error with technicians to find the ones that are right for you. I’d recommend Fiona, Chanel, Cici, and Rose. I’d also recommend Fancy because she can do some amazing designs, but she’s highly requested and also manages the salon, so you might have to wait a bit with/for her (and she also doesn’t do pedicures). I also love the spirit and energy that Fancy brings to the atmosphere. I find that the men are a little to light-handed when it comes to scrubbing and sanding my feet, which might be an effort not to be too rough, but if you want delicate hands, perhaps they might be right for you. Very clean, great decor, and large enough to host a party. Even if you’re a Chicago resident like I am, it’s worth the drive."

"Omg i don’t what to say, they’re okay they’re clean, but i asked for chip and they did no chip maybe because they want more money? While she’s doing them i told her, she was trying to act like ahe doesn’t understand me, what there is no (chip) this is (no chip) we don’t have to chip idkkk. Like seriously? And then i went to the cashier told her if i can pay less at least because i wanted to take them off in 2 days that’s why i want them just a Chip she said sorry i can’t help you with anything but gave a lotion to keep!! But it is a waste idk.."

"Do not go here for a dip! Super uneven and a TON of dip on my skin after the fact. My friend had the same issues- mentioned it to my nail tech, and she said she'd be right back...we waited for about 5 minutes and then saw she had moved on to start someone else's nails! Super clean and pretty, though- large space, but none of that matters if the service isn't great! YIKES."

"I really enjoy getting my nails done by Fiona. She is patient, kind, and always does a great job. However, one of the owners/managers has a really nasty attitude, and she changes the environment when she's there. If it wasn't for Fiona, I would've found a different nail shop by now."
