Fancy Nails

"Such a bad experience. For $30.00 I expect a full pedicure. Clean the dead skin from the side, scrub and cut. This young Korean man barely touch my feet. He did not want to cut my nails, did not ask how short I wanted them. I asked him to clean the side of the toenail. I was observing the others 2 attendants how they were so thorough, detail with their clients . Comparing to the service that I just received. He told me that next time that I coming I should get that kind of pedicure. I said to him “ for $30.00 I was expecting exactly that . The Korean guy was very rude and disrespectful. He told me to leave as I was Paying at the register. I am not person that makes a scene but I felt very mistreated and I did pay him. Do not recommend the young , short , fatty Guy. To add on : the water tub was so hot . No one monitors the temperature. The other Korean man saw my struggle and bothered to ask if that’s water was ok . After the so call bad experience pedicure. I got home with feet muscle pain . Never ever experienced this from a pedicure. I will ask definitely for my money back . As I said before I did not want to make a scene and I Just paid him the $30.00 . And I did because I felt pressure . I also remember that the Young Korean man was not looking at me as he was performing the pedicure. He was watching TV . I am a overweight woman .maybe he doesn’t like dealing with big women. I just do not know why I was treaded badly."

"Everytime I go my nails Crack immediately and I have to get them fixed this time after 3 days my dip powder started Cracking on 3 nails and then the 2nd time they fixed it less than a week later they started cracking again on 4 nails. So I went for a 3rd time and they were giving me attitude on the phone prior and no good bye have a good day just annoyed even though it's a problem with them not me that the polish kept cracking!"

"This is my second time Giving this place a shot. Unfortunately will never be coming back! As you can see from the pictures you can totally see the previous set it looks yellow the French tip on my index finger is very sloppy and you can see remnants from the dust on my actual French tip on every other nail. I can tell my nail tech noticed these imperfections but decided instead to ignore the imperfections because she had another client. I honestly allowed her to do her job but I noticed the imperfections once my hands were drying I unfortunately could not tell her to redo my nails because I had to go. I’m so disappointed"

"I was visiting Chicago on business and needed to get a refill on my nails. Fancy Nails was right around the corner from my hotel and had good reviews so I decided to give them a shot on 7/17/2019. The inside was clean and the staff was friendly. I mentioned my two thumbnails were lifting and asked that they fix the issue. Well they didn’t. All they did was put glue on the side that was lifting and that was it. These are white tips so the idea is to have clean looking nail beds but that’s not what I got. I now have fungus growing on two of my nails on top of my thumbnails are almost completely lifted. I paid $30 for a service that didn’t even last a week. Now I have to go to another salon and have my nails redone again because I refuse to walk around with growing fungus on my nails. Pics below."

"I started coming here about a year ago after my nail tech of over 10 years retired. I have always had a fantastic experience no matter who did my pedicure and nails. They have always taken their time no matter how busy they are and always has great attention to detail. Love the paraffin dip!"
