"Great atmosphere and very personable staff. I am visiting Chicago with my boyfriend on a business trip. I made a spur of the moment decision to get my hair colored while in the area. After reading some online reviews of salons in the area, I called Hair love. I went as a walk in, with no appointment and was her top priority. She did an amazing job with my color! Not only did she listen to wanted she took the time to match up exactly what I was looking for. The price was extremely affordable as well. Conversation was very fluid and I overall had a wonderful experience! She does hair, waxing and henna. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back. Highly recommended !!!"

"I had high hopes for this place based on other positive reviews, but left feeling uncomfortable and looking cheap. The salon came under new ownership about a year ago and the quality is NOT the same. Went in today for a balayage and haircut and was disappointed mainly because certain sections of the balayage were blended very poorly on the top/front of my head. When I pointed it out at the salon, the hair stylist denied seeing it. Some sections were blended decently, even well...other parts had visible lines (see pictures).The balayage also came out much lighter than I requested when I came in, but that mattered less to me. It felt very uncomfortable to be told there was nothing wrong when there were visible lines on the top/front of my head. Expected a lot more for what I paid (over $210 plus tip) and am frustrated I'll have to get it fixed somewhere else now."

"Ashley Rose is a wonderful hairstylist. She is terrific with color and making my hair look so healthy and shiny. She is very good at taking the time to make certain she understands what you are looking for in a cut, style and color. Never rushes. Ashley is always very welcoming when you walk in. As to are Connie and Connie's mother. Nice place to relax and be pampered."

"Connie has been doing my hair for about a year now. My Aunt has been getting her hair done by Connie for many years and one day I decided to make an appointment with Connie. Why not? Ever since the first day I knew I had found my spot to go! Connie does absolutely fabulous hair! Cut, color, style, you name it! I go in there with a picture or a color in mind and she does it exactly how it looks. I always am changing my color and adding fun colors to my hair, Connie is able to do it all! The salon is a great hip atmosphere! Everyone is super nice and always welcoming. They always make sure everyone is taken care of. I can say they have become a part of my family.
