Schnucks Zumbehl

"Meat/fish employee needs additional customer service training. I’ve come to this store twice now to try to order fried fish. The first time, I was told they had no one to do the frying. The second visit, I was told by the employee who works at the meat and fish section that the employee who does the fish frying doesn’t show up until 11am. I asked if I can make an order at 11 because it was 1050 at the time. She says it will take 15 minutes to warm up the fryers but then she goes on about her business and does not turn on the fryers. She made no additional effort. In my head, I asked why she can’t turn on the fryers to warm them up to speed up the process? I did not buy the fish. She had an attitude of indifference. This is how businesses lose customers. The employee at the self check out was very nice though but I’m not going back to this store. The store at Lindenwood has superior customer service so I’ll get the fish there. Why is everything else in this store so much more expensive? There’s an Aldi and Walmart around the corner?"

"Went to the deli and asked for a specific item and the woman working was quite rude. I just wanted what I asked for and not the attitude. I won't return to the Zumbel location again. This one person tried to ruin my day at 830 in the morning over some ham."

"I believe the first check out lanes that should be open in any store are the self checkout lanes, especially when there is only one cashier working. Whatever, ever happened to wanting to help the customers' shopping experience in order to improve a business's sales? Customers want to buy their groceries, pay for them, and leave in the most efficient way possible. Why would a store try to make shopping with them an inconvenience? Walmart has their self check out lanes open all the time and I drive right past Walmart to go to Schnucks. Now, I will start shopping at Walmart because of the convenience. Convenience and consideration go hand in hand."

"They have a wide selection of items and decently priced. The store is always neat and order, even when they are stocking items, it’s still neatly. The staff is friendly and approachable. The baggers are always friendly, quick and efficient. My only chief complaint is sometimes they run out of stock on items so quickly, but I know that’s not their fault."
