"My experience at Truluck's in Dallas fell short of expectations. We're regulars at the Austin Research location and have always received exceptional service there. However, for my boyfriend's birthday celebration in Dallas, we decided to give this branch a chance. The view from the restaurant was lovely, but unfortunately, there was a considerable wait for our food, understandable due to the bustling atmosphere. While the dishes were served hot and fresh, the creamed spinach lacked flavor, prompting me to return it. The most disappointing aspect of the evening was our waitress. Despite her warmth with other diners, she seemed distant and unfriendly towards our table. Neglecting to refresh our beverages and infrequent check-ins during our meal were noticeable letdowns, particularly on such a special occasion. Considering it was my boyfriend's birthday and we're accustomed to excellent service elsewhere, this was disheartening. Nonetheless, we did tip appropriately. Even valeting our car posed an issue as others who arrived after us received their vehicles first. Although the food was decent, the subpar service and valet experience leave us hesitant to return to this particular Truluck's location"

"The customer service was on point. Maggy called to confirm my reservation. Our hostess, sprinkled confetti on the table for my daughters birthday. Our server was Benjamin was very attentive was able to recommended serveral options off the menu. Jumbo crab cake is a must! The Mizo Seabass was absolutely amazing. The truffle fries that came with the steak frites were very tasty. The desserts all just melted in your mouth. Shout out to the manager for making rounds to all the table checking on guest. Enjoyed my 1st time at Trulucks’s."

"The food was great! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Good prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. The food took a long time to come out however. Parking is ok, ohnestly we had a larger commercial vheicle that would not fit and we had to park blocks away and walk"
