Reviews
"The restaurant's main appeal is in its daily specials, which are fairly authentic, its cemitas, regional Mexican sandwiches and its weekend barbacoa plate. In general I found this place to have fairly authentic Mexican fare."
"This place has to have the best tacos I've tried in St Louis! They are well priced, prepared, and proportioned. I initially ordered three like usual, but these were so good I ordered another 2! The toritillas are well cooked and lightly greased while the carne asada had a slight char, but still tender. The whole taco experience was tasty, with a slight crisp to the meat and balanced by the fresh cilantro and onions. I have to come back and try the other dishes because they all looked amazing. I'll definitely be bringing friends to experience this incredible food!"
"We thought this place was just outstanding! The food was all so fresh and homemade! Definitely will come back and tell others! A must try here in South St Louis."
"This place really is a hidden gem, me and my boyfriend frequent this establishment and food is always delicious, more importantly authentic."
"I finally got to try this place. I know they have some more authentic stuff than the usual at most places, burritos, chimichangas and the likes which are tex mex but not authentic Mexican. The food was very good and did not disappoint. I’m from Mexico City and their lamb barbacoa tasted pretty similar to the one back home. The pastor was also good and the gordita de chicharrón (which is super hard to find around here) was awesome, big, full of meat and super crunchy. They have other items that I haven’t seen anywhere else in St Louis like cemitas, machetes, mojarras, etc. Can’t wait to come back and try some more stuff."
