"I was very hesitant on going to get a cut since I have curls and this was my first time coming here, but the ladies that attended me and did my hair were amazing ! They were gentle and understanding of my hair ! They made me feel confident again and I loved the way my hair was cut ! They also made me feel very comfortable and we were able to chat and have some laughs ! I did not catch one of the ladies names, but Marisela cut my hair and did my layers and she left it amazing !"

"Love Great Clips, I’ve been going since I moved to Oswego in 15 when it used to cost me $8. I have minimal hair and it’s quick and easy. Until Yesterday. I walk in, there were two in the chairs and two waiting. Said it would be possibly 30 min. I’m retired I said no problem and proceeded to sit and get involved in the funny story being told. At about thirty min someone walks in and has a seat. She finishes with the last customer and I proceeded to walk towards her and she gave me that look and called out the other guys name. Turns out she had an online customer. Why that wasn’t relayed to me that it might bump me to the next spot I haven’t a clue. I’m 67 with bad feet. What has happened to the common currency customers we allused to experience in this or any type of setting. You wonder why people my age get upset. I had a car sales man lie to my face that he didn’t say he had a particular model in the lot about a month ago. He even confirmed I was coming the next day. It was over an hr away in the south suburbs. I bought the model just dropped off the truck in Elgin two hrs later. He couldn’t figure out (with a blank look on his face) why I was upset either. It’s called customer relations and being truthful and honest. Signed Done with the Oswego rt. 34 location. At least I’ll know to ask if I ever step foot in another Great Clips."
"I hate to give this place a 2 star rating because I come here a lot it’s my go to place and I really enjoy the online check in system believe me there are some good stylist here and I like a lot of them but i really do not like when jamie cuts my hair very awkward non talking amd seems to rush. Was there today and 4 people were in line while me and one other person were getting our haircut maybe she was rushing because they were too many people in line but that’s no excuse. I don’t care if there’s 100 people online my head is not some package that you just sent down the line and then call the word “next” since great clips finds it necessary to crank the price up to $20 for a haircut then I want $20 service. I don’t care if people are waiting in line I don’t care if it’s a two hour wait for the next person, nor would I care if somebody was in front of me, and I was waiting same thing goes. I’m paying for a service to have a good haircut, and the whole time she was just rushing and snipping and not taking her time like she should be. I wouldn’t want somebody getting fired because of a complaint, but it just bothers me that somebody has to rush that much it’s not my problem people are waiting. They can wait for as long as they have to wait. I want my haircut to be done delicately and slowly I don’t want to be in there feeling like I’m a nuisance to other people. Jamie, you got no tip today for a reason. Sorry to have to call you out like this, but maybe people should be aware of how you cut hair. do better."
