Ace Hardware Corporate Headquarters

"Walked in to the ace hardware store as a customer to do shopping and to use the restroom they are discriminating people even with medical issues the ace hardware at 3111east Indian school road on 3/1/2024 at 4:30pm. This location needs to close down or have better management for people who have medical issues and refusing to use the restrooms let’s see how you guys can win this case in court."

"Unfortunate. Ran into the most unprofessional, rude, grumpy old man today. Name is David and I think he is the owner because any employee would have been fired for treating a customer like that. It was obvious that he doesn’t know or care how to handle customers. I must have said something that he just didn’t like. I drove an hour to pick up an item that the app said they had in stock. I was put out by that and was told, if I don’t like it, leave. In fact, he told me to leave. Then on my way out, David and the guy with the beard wannabe taunted me saying “enjoy your hour long drive home”. I really feel sorry for him because I think he has underlying issues. I would rather travel further and go to Lowe’s or Home Depot than to be treated like that. I wanted to follow up on my original review. I received a reply from someone to send them a private DM. I’m not technical at all and don’t know what that means, so I contacted your customer service and explained what I was trying to do and I’m sorry to say I got nowhere fast. The store in question was Ace Hardware in Monteagle, TN. This whole thing has been a very negative experience and a big time waster."

"Ace corporation just built a new corporate office building. Instead of building office space why don't you spend money on fixing the stores? DuQuoin Il store is a disgrace. It hardly ever has what I need, the store is small and the employees are always changing and do not have any knowledge. I wished that I could start my own store to put you all out of business. Ace is NOT the place."

"Very disappointing….my husband and I both have the Ace app on our phones. We both recently received via the app a reward of $7 off a $20 purchase. We both clipped the reward. He went into the store yesterday and attempted to use the reward but was told he couldn’t because once the reward is clipped it can’t be used. And apparently since I did the same thing I won’t be able to use my reward either. Nowhere were we informed that the reward would be void if we clipped it before going to the store. We will not be going back and will be using a local independent hardware from now on."

"Terrible customer service and no effort whatsoever to help a customer. Not only was the product damaged ( due to zero protection inside the package ) but the company believes that they can get away with false advertising of the product by providing pictures of items which are not even included in the kit. Pictures are so poor in quality that one one is able to read description from the packaging. Every corporation today believes that they can get away with anything because they have attorneys. Well, Ace should realize that people have attorneys as well and false advertising and shipping the product unprotected will not always be tolerated. Teach your customer service reps to think and not just read the script you provide them with. Dont shop at Ace, waste of time and money. They are bad on every level"
