"I sat down to get a signature 58$ manicure. The tech cut me with the automatic tool at onset. I dealt with it. Then she puts wax on my feet in a bag and hot towels and leaves me to work on another person. Meanwhile. The towels get cold and I am stuck with wax on my feet in a bag. I finally motion to the, I am assuming owner who then replaces her for the lady she left me to work on. She came back obviously angry and started speaking in her native language to the other employees. So rude… a manicure is a treat for this working mom, I loathe when people try to work on two people at the same time at a salon. She is now using the wrong nail polish color and telling me it is what I picked. Which it is not but at this point I cannot wait to get out of here and NEVER come back. I will leave with cuts and the wrong nail polish and 58$ poorer. UGH Update…literally THE worst paint job I have ever had. I’m so frustrated. It’s so bad she is having to fix the polish with a brush. I cannot. Believe i am paying for this. Not only the wrong color but now f’d up pain. I will have go home and paint them myself. Oh and she is using a hand fan to dry them. This is almost comical at this point. Still Have callouses. Waste of time and huge waste of my money. Unless you know someone to ask for DO NOT WALK IN UPFTE. She put my socks on my feet. Told me I was dry. Just got home. Yeah so…. I’m furious. Apparently they were not dry"

"Very pleasant and welcoming. Gentleman did an excellent job with my request. Natural looking, nude on my own nail. Dip, color: milky way. No wait time when I arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night. Loved."

"RUN! This place is nice aesthetically but the technicians can’t possibly be board certified. Q will play doctor and have you w a hole in your toe. Meanwhile Mary and the manager who claimed to be the owner argues w you when on your 3rd return after having bubbling and chipped shellac manicure. Very poor customer service here. Spend your money where they care about you and your business. Lopsided and sloppy mani btw. And excuse the month long healing toe and old shellac. Edit: haha! They’re so unprofessional! The “manager” argued w me saying that they gave me a discount on the hole in my toe inflicted by Q! I never even mentioned the hole in my toe from October until November the lady argued otp saying they gave a discount, if I knew I had a hole in my toe I wouldn’t have paid anything in October for the rose pedi. She lied and said she was the owner. The fact that they responded saying they didn’t argue w me is hilarious. I did in fact call the cops and they did in fact advise that since they offered a service they didn’t have to refund my money. Any sane person would refuse them inflicting more harm than they already did. Just look at the pics, the reviews and their responses. Proofs in the pudding.Take my advice and run! If you want quality service and quality products visit melody over at studio day spa on grand. I’m from Houston and studio day spa is the best in town hands down! Don’t waste your time w these unprofessional untrained people!!! RUN!!!"

"Giving it a 2 star because the lady was nice, but still had me leaving looking pretty sloppy with my nails. I told her to fix them multiple times and everytime she would "fix" them they still ended up being sloppy and I just gave up and accepted that she just couldn't do a simple set. I just asked for blue French tip and that's it. The original color I had picked out she said was too light. So we went with a completely different color. I felt a little rushed as well. All in all it was rushed. And it wasn't even a busy day today. There's so many flaws."

"I’m going on a vacation out of state, and wanted cute nails for pictures, plus I like to get my cuticles cleaned up every now and then. I searched google and found Lavish Nails and thought I’d make the drive to you. I signed in requesting a woman since I’ve seen some of the lady nail technicians with good ratings below (not sure if that mattered) and got someone else, which was fine at first. My boyfriend came with and decided why not, he’ll get a mani pedi too, and was seated next to me. He received a more thorough pedicure, with more steps than mine. My pedicure was very rushed through and sloppy, both of our pedicures were started at the same time. I got my nails painted and he didn’t, and I was done way before him. With my manicure, my cuticles were not pushed back, he slid the tool real quick over them and cut the sides, then proceeded to paint over my cuticles and the skin below them. The file job was very choppy and I’m left with jagged nails that keep catching on my clothes, one was super noticeable and I tried pointing it out to him before he painted it, but he ignored me. Then after I kept looking at it he finally scoffed and filed it down on still drying polish. The polish is lumpy from taking so long to apply and being pushed and clumped around and obviously some lumps from my cuticles being a bit up my nail (my left middle finger is the most noticeable from afar). My toes aren’t terrible, he was quicker with those. As a new customer trying to find somewhere to go to get my nails done, that was my experience. (The other technician my boyfriend had was amazing and thorough, even though he didn’t care as much) She’s the reason for the 2 stars. It seemed to just be my nail technician, so you may have better luck if you get one of the ladies mentioned on the 5 star ratings!"
