"Had a roof replacement done back in 2015. Contractor used Richards Bldg Supply. We paid the contractor in full. Apparently the contractor didn't pay RBS so they came after us threatening a lien or a lawsuit if we didn't pay them. So we paid the $4000 that the contractor owed. Our mistake because the contractor never paid us back like he said he would. Then, we find out that contactor owes RBS for other completed jobs but they are still working this contractor. I feel that we were scammed not only by the contractor, but RBS as well."

"Hello, I am the owner of admirable home improvement and I do A LOT of work out of the Joliet office. On a good note Joliet branch has done me very well great service they don't sugar coat things they do the best they can for US (their customers). I had an order I needed sent out that was already paid for and confirmed to be delivered out of the rolling meadows branch today. Promised that they would send it out. I get a call from Joliet saying oh hey they cancelled your delivery but gave no true reason why. I called there and they beated around the Bush told me oh well new orders came in so now we can't deliver yours which now I have a house tore off and no siding put up. They lady at the rolling meadows branch goes oh well let me see what i can do for you and I'll talk to manager and call u back in 10 min. Over 40 min go by no call so I called them back then they partially lied told me oh your Joliet branch is coming to pick it up and deliver it for u. (To myself I'm like great ok so they took care of it) ...... now hour goes by no delivery nothing .... I call Joliet and they tell me they were able to pick it up which I am so thankful for cause they went out of their way to help me, but theyy weren't able to deliver it nor did they tell rolling meadows that. Which they sat and lied to me to get me off the phone and assume I was getting the delivery to cover up how they treated me a business on a full COD account never in debt and always buying from but I want it to be know that it seems as if values only pertain to certain contractors in certain areas and when something is promised to one company to be delivered and then is cancelled for no reason for another company makes me and my company feel as if our business just isn't as valuable. I'm extremely upset with the way I was handled and how I was deceived by that branch."
