"Austin is a-ma-zing!!! I moved to Southern Illinois 5 years ago and was struggling to make trips home to see the hairstylist I had been going to for years. Honestlyyy I was pretty picky about where to go and who to book with - but I could NOT have been more impressed!! Austin takes the time to understand your hair goals and daily life in order to give you such a magical feeling when you’re leaving his chair. I just returned to the area after some months away and I can’t wait to book another visit!!! Stop dilly-dallying and book asap - you won’t regret it ❤️❤️"

"Austin is my hair stylist and is a wonderful kind person and great with his work. After several searches, I finally got to do a virtual consult to discuss my exact hair needs and Austin is very attentive, patient, detail oriented and listens to you and likes to work with you to get your desired hair results which a lot of places lack. I love my hair style and have received many compliments and thanks to Austin for working along with me in achieving this. He is also great with kids haircuts. Overall, I recommend the salon and Austin for the exceptional affordable services they provide to their clients."

"Arie is the bees knees and the cats pajamas! This is the second salon I have been at with her and she continues to wow me with her talent. I always leave her chair feeling like a pretty princess. She also always remembers the little details of my life and asks about them during the following visit. The salon atmosphere here is also so awesome! Plants galore and a relaxed girl's night atmosphere."

"Overall I liked my hair. I tried Arie at Faction 93 several times. She has a talent for color and is very helpful in explaining hair cuts and helping you find a new style. Things I could not get with though were the chairs were so uncomfortable partly due to a wobble but also they were downright painful-especially for longer services - because of the thin padding and the center support feels like it is coming up through the chair (trying to make it work, eventually I did ask for a blanket so I could sit on that for a little added cushion, but it was still painful), but the final issue, to be completely honest, was that Arie does not take feedback well. Having gone to the salon a few times, I was still a fairly new client who was trying to communicate what I liked and did not like about my cut and styling so we could learn each other. The two times I gave specific feedback Arie would shut down and almost stop speaking to me entirely. That was super awkward and left me feeling guilty. It was never my intention to hurt her feelings. Even after apologizing profusely she didn’t respond. Now I am not even sure what I was apologizing for. In my opinion you need to have open lines of communication with your stylist, especially as you are getting to know each other. In the end I decided to take my business elsewhere. I wish them all well and hope this feedback is helpful to someone."

"Okay my peeps, I have found my salon!! Arielle at Faction 93 is beyond fabulous. Upon arrival she greeted me kindly, listened attentively to my ideas, gave feedback, and set to work. She continued to ask questions making sure I received just the hairstyle I desired. She had such a laid back personality that I felt relaxed and enjoyed our conversation. When she was finished let's just say I was impressed. It looked exactly as I envisioned it. Arielle, girl you are fantastic and Faction 93 is now my home for all salon needs."
