"I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Artistic that left me feeling anxious and frustrated. I had scheduled an appointment with them on a Friday at noon to get my hair curled for my engagement photos, an occasion that holds immense significance for me. I also wanted to get details about possibly using Artistic for my wedding hair. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when I received a call from the salon the day before my appointment, informing me that they had to cancel because my hair was deemed "too long”. It was unprofessional and inconsiderate to cancel an appointment last minute, especially for such a significant event. As a customer, I had made the effort to schedule my appointment in advance, ensuring that I would have the desired look for my engagement photos. I was traveling from Ontario, Canada and to receive a call the day before, with such a flimsy excuse, was not only disrespectful but also left me scrambling to find an alternative solution. Thankfully, I was able to find an extremely last minute solution at Great Clips in Waterloo. Artistic’s failure speaks volumes about their lack of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the reason given for canceling my appointment due to my hair length is simply unacceptable. As a hair salon, it is their responsibility to be equipped and skilled in handling various hair lengths and styles. If they were unable to accommodate long hair, they should have made that clear when I initially scheduled the appointment, rather than canceling at the last minute. I was scheduled to be with Karen. Overall, my experience with Artistic was extremely disappointing. Their lack of professionalism, last-minute cancellation, and inability to handle long hair left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative options"
