"Barbara, my stylist is very good, friendly and so pleasant. Shop is pleasant and always clean"
"Marguerite was great! She worked me in and shaped up my hair that I haven't gotten cut since before Covid hit and it looks and feels great. Thanks again! I will be back!"
"They are my number one choice for getting hair cuts now. Tosha is our families stylist that does an amazing job everytime."
"I have been going to Barb my whole life to get my hair cut. She is amazing! She has made my hair look good long, short, brown, blonde, red, purple, and even multi colored. She is always willing to work with me to get the exact style and look I want. She also isn't afraid to tell you what will and won't work, while also still letting you choose what you do with your hair. And everyone who works there is super friendly. They all will compliment your new hair. Everytime I get my hair dyed a new and fun color the whole salon ask to see it when Barb is done. And they are never dissapointed."
"My most recent salon visit at Adam & Eaves in Arnold, Missouri was a horror. Chris, the stylist whom I'd only seen about 3 times, completely messed up my hair. The haircut was uneven in NUMEROUS PLACES. Even I could notice it, and I'm not even a hair stylist. I'd asked for a color, making it clear that I WAS NOT READY TO GO GRAY. Chris applied a darker color which was pretty close to my natural color. However, he did not color my roots. I couldn't tell how badly the gray was showing in the front because it was wet and he styled my bangs forward. When I got home, I lifted up my bangs and I looked like a skunk! I also checked to see if my cut was even, and it was NOT. When he cut my bangs, I'd asked for the bangs to be blended in with the top of my hair, cut at an angle. He looked at the section of my hair BEHIND my bangs and said, "It looks like you're letting this grow out." I saved my breath and didn't waste my time reminding him that he cut it the last time. Obviously he hadn't blended it in the last time, but at least it was better than what I ended up with that day! I, also, gave him an almost 20% tip, and replied that the color looked good, even though I hadn't lifted my bangs to see his mess. Even another stylist, which shares his space, only commented on the color. She didn't mention the cut, which I understood. I immediately made an appointment at another salon to see if my cut could be corrected, without cutting it way too short. The stylist at the other salon said that it looked like I had a month of regrowth. She recut my hair, and said that I had "points everywhere". She said that I should demand a refund from Chris. I returned to see Chris from Adam & Eaves, explaining how badly he had cut and "colored" my hair. He just kept repeating, "I gave you what you asked for." "I gave you what you asked for." "I gave you what you asked for". I replied that I had said that I was NOT READY TO GO GRAY, so why did I have all of this?!! And the cut was messed up as well. He REFUSED to give me even a partial refund. I told him that neither I, nor my daughter, would be back. He said "That's fine". Then I told him to enjoy the money, and he shot back with, "I WILL!". I walked out the door and closed with, "Enjoy the tip!". He shot back with, "OH, I WILL!!" I've only had complaints with other salons maybe 2 other times in my life. In those cases, I received a redo, or a refund. A stylist is supposed to make it clear what they'd recommend, and get your OK. He DID NOT mention that he was leaving my gray roots showing. Why would I ask for a dark color to be applied over my light blonde hair, and expect my extremely gray roots to show? To look like a skunk? Absolutely not. Don't waste your time, money, and hair to this "so-called" stylist. You'll live to regret it. He knows nothing about being professional and keeping return customers."
