"Food was fresh and amazing! The price seems high until you see the portions! They are awesome, amazingly happy and will make this a stop when traveling through."
"You walk in and it looks like every other Mexican taco place but it's not. The food is flavorful and delicious. They have a wide seelction of seafood and many different flavors that you can have it prepared in. Their drink service leaves a lot to be desired, as it's served in bottles and cans, including water and soda. It's a new restaurant so hopefully it grows. The server was attentive and efficient. Overall it was a good first experience."
"I was excited to try this new restaurant and went for an early dinner. I was the only diner for most of my meal. As I walked in, the chef was sitting at a table in the dining room and the server was staring at her phone. Though the menu listed cervaza, I was told it was not available. I always say that a meal without wine or beer is breakfast...so disappointed (especially since you walk past a bar to get to the dining room). I ordered the shrimp empanadas as an appetizer, which were delivered quickly. There were four of them, so it's definitely something to share. They were steaming hot. Not a huge flavor bomb. Here is where I rant. I absolutely hate it when my main course comes before I finish my appetizer, and in this case, the main course came after one empanada. I had the spicy garlic shrimp (see image below). The portion size was huge. Fries, very good. Rice was very flavorful, but luke warm (maybe it was meant to be?). The salad was undressed, but refreshing. The spicy garlic shrimp was bland. I could not detect any garlic, and it was not spicy at all. The most disappointing aspect was that the shrimp was not deveined.. They were small shrimp, but they all had visible noticeable digestive tracts, resulting in gritty shrimp. I understand that deveining small shrimp is tedious, but when the menu features more that a dozen shrimp dishes, you need to pay attention to details. After serving my dishes, the server plopped back down in her chair and resumed using the phone. Usually at this price point ($35) if the food is substandard, I cross the place off my list. In this case, I will go back after they have been open for a while and try it again, but I will not order shrimp."
