"I feel the school is structured - they do good with what they have to work with. If I feel the school needs more support I'll let the Superintendent know."
"Through out the year(1st grade) my daughter received a lot of verbal abuse,as well as humiliation when she didn't know the answer to something in class, her teacher Elena Gil, said was against bullying, when she herself was bullying my daughter! I complained, several times. My daughter's grades dropped, she had a lot of absences, due to the fact, that she was unhappy there :(. Later, I found out there were two other girls, that were experiencing the same situation..sadly, but true, nothing was done!"
"This school can not seem to get the parking under control. Just a month ago the crossing guard told me I can park in the driveway after picking up my pre schooler at 2:30 to wait until my son comes out at 3:15. I know there is favoritism to one lady that does the same thing I do at 2:30. They never make her move but today I got here first and the crossing guard told me I had to move, this was at 2:35. She argued that she never said 2:30 I can park in the driveway. Never mind soon after 2 other cars pulled in behind me and she did not say anything to them. I've complained about other situations here at this school, just for it to fall on deaf ear. I'm glad the school year is almost over and my children will not be coming back. Also if you try to eat lunch with your child, this is no longer allowed due to the new principle..."
"Myself and my lil one Sophia Montantez miss her old school we had to change schools because we moved to the other side of George Dieter, its only one minute deference but my poor lil one is soo depressed by now we would think she would adjust but she really misses her principal Mrs. Myers, Mrs. Yoly, teachers, her friends, and her former school. At her new school she has been bullied about her glasses hair and one time a student cut her pants. I have brought it up to office staff and teacher. It's sad to hear from my lil one everyday she hates her school. O'Shea is a great school."
