"I highly recommend Pool Chem Plus. They have been out to our house twice to fix issues with our pool pump. They did excellent work. In addition, during the freeze when we had issues with our pump, they were very helpful and patient with me over the phone walking me through the process of draining our pump system and again with the process of restarting the pump after the freeze was over. They were honest as well, talking me through steps I could perform myself rather than paying for a service call. I appreciate their knowledgeable staff - both over the phone and in person."

They are reasonable in price and have never failed to the repair the equipment problem on the same day. I've probably used them for major repairs over ten times from heater, to valves, to pump problems (due to the age of the pool - over 12 years.) "I moved into a house with a pool and no experience or knowledge of what I needed to do to maintain it. The previous owner had used these guys so I continued with them. They are wonderful. Very prompt and patient with my many questions. They keep it clean and the chemicals balanced, and they’ve replaced some equipment that needed it. Highly recommend."

"Make sure you understand that they require you to run an automatic cleaner and they will not clean unless the pool is clean when they get there. Customer service has gone straight downhill. Our only complaint was that on occasion, especially lately, after our tech leaves, the pool visibly looked worse. This is because he was neglecting to completely brush the pool. I went out less than an hour after the tech left and the bottom was fairly clean but the sides were not touched. And there were streaks of large areas missed. After sending pics and pointing this out, instead if addressing the issue, I was lectured on how “the real problem” is because we don’t have an auto pool cleaner. And while I understand that they want us to have a pool cleaner, and we do, that does not excuse the fact that our tech is rushing through the job and not completing the cleaning that is part of our service. Furthermore, the report says it was brushed. But rather than discuss or take care of the problem, all the focus was redirected to a pool cleaner and the blame thrown back on us. They cannot clean our pool if it is not already clean when they get there……what?? When we started, they made us promise NOT to cancel during the winter time. We held up our part even though we really didn’t need the service over the winter. When one of our first techs was constantly sleeping in our driveway, we were patient and politely brought it up after several occurrences and we did not cancel. I’m just shocked at how there was not a better resolution and they would rather lose our business than address the problem. Find a different pool maintenance company unless you enjoy halfassed service and cleaning the pool yourself. Not worth the money. Pics attached were taken about a half hour after the tech left."
