"I went here with my son for the first and last time yesterday. I called in two days prior to us getting there for an appointment for my son who’s SIDES WERE SHAVED-and he needed a perm on top. i told them it was eyebrow level. the woman i made the appointment with said it would be just fine. my son has gotten at least 7 perms at this length. First thing when we walked in the door to her full waiting room she said “umm who is getting their hair done?? that is not long enough” i said i made the appointment, if you can’t do it i’ll take him somewhere else. she proceeded to sit him down. to me this was her telling me she could handle it. She then told me to go have a seat and my son “would be fine” i don’t leave my children while they’re getting their hair done as they don’t know what they're asking for and they were about to use a perm solution that will burn his skin if it gets on it. so i will be there to make sure it doesn’t get in his eyes or on his face. the entire time she was complaining about doing it. the actual stylist i booked with could barley get a word in because i’m assuming the owner (or surely acted like she owned it) kept giving her opinion and taking over for our stylist. i’m not sure if the stylist wasn’t trained in perms…but i called days prior so i figured they would book me with someone who could complete the task. she had 4-5 rollers in and one on the left side, none on the right side (she said it was too short even though she did the opposite side fine) and she started to wrap the cotton like she was done…..half of my child’s head was untouched. i said um you can’t do the other side?? she said “i TOLD you it was short” i held up my sons hair which was four fingers long and i said you can’t fit a roller here? she then annoyed put in FOUR more rollers where “it was way too short” for her to do, so obviously it was something she was able to do. her staff whispered to each other right in front of me and my son the entire time, which is incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. when she started to put the chemical in i stepped forward to help with the towel because my child is in first grade. he doesn't understand he can’t get this on his skin. the owner proceeded to take the towel and say “i’ve got this” while i’m talking to MY son. i stood there in absolute awe at this point. i wanted the solution out so we could leave. they then never set a timer for 20 minutes like i have seen every other time with perms and put my child under a dryer where i’m assuming “sped up the process” but i’m not sure because it wasn’t explained to me. i just had to comfort my child because it was hot and itchy. finally it’s time to wash it out. aka time to leave for us and never come back. our stylist was gentle and was rinsing him with another stylist while they unraveled the rods. they were doing just fine. then again the owner comes from nowhere and takes my sons chin and pushes it back so he tips his head back. 1. don’t put hands on children that aren’t yours i immediately put my hands up and said he doesn’t know you i will do it. she said “he’s fine” i then put my hands on his face so he knew i was there because they had the towel over his eyes. i will have to get the spots they didn’t do permed. since they weren’t “able to”. i paid SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS for this service. and still tipped ten because i don’t think our stylist was really at fault. but i suggest if you have children not to take them to Kuts by Us. the owner has no patience and micromanages her staff and i think it’s absurd i paid that much for probably ten rods that was complained about the. entire. time. when my child was excited. she made sure to suck all that out of him by the end. I paid for the worst service i’ve ever got and still tipped our stylist. but to make sure it’s clear i am not happy a dime of my money went to an owner (or like i said i’m guessing owner by the behavior) that treats people the way she does, honestly hope she sleeps well. Ruined the entire experience. if i could give you no stars i would."

"I have went here a few times to get a haircut, but have never left a review. I would recommend this place to anyway that is requiring a quick haircut. I bairly have time for anything with my busy life and it's nice to know that even at 530 PM when they close at 6 PM they can squeeze me in for a quick cut! Thank you and I appreciate it!"

"I've been here three times and they've always done well with my hair. Normally, they are friendly and professional. However, the last time I almost walked out. They close at 7 and I got there with my daughter just before 6:30. we both needed cuts. My daughter went first and was dealt with great. My lady on other hand, not so. She asked me what I wanted and I told her that she could do what she wanted. She laughed and said, "no, what do you want because you don't want what I feel like doing." She told me if it were up to her, she would shave my head and be done because she wanted to go home. So, I won't be sitting with her again. I didn't get her name but she looked to be in late 30's to mid 40's with longer blonde hair, Caucasian."
