"I have been here a couple times and have gotten amazing service each time. They give great advice and they helped me learn exactly what went wrong on my project and how to correct it. I am slowly building my collection of chisels from this location by purchasing 1 per week. It's worth the 2 hour drive. Awesome shop and awesome service"
"We recently updated our floors and had an incredible experience. Dean and Wes were clean, professional, and courteous. They didn’t cut corners and kept us engaged in the decision making process. I highly recommend Woodworkers Shop!"
"My only wish is that they had thicker boards. I wanted actual size 2.5-3" They didn't seem to have anything bigger than 8/4. Otherwise, they were great. I appreciated the required mask policy."
"I’m not sure how but my written review was removed for this business. Strange. So, what it originally said was that I used their sanding service on 2 edge glued boards and one full board. 1 board was about 4 feet long, 1 was about 10 feet long and the 3rd was about 7 feet long. The edge glued boards were off about 1/8 inch. I was told that the service is $75/hr. So, I was thinking 3 boards sanded down to flat-maybe $75 or even a little less. The final bill was $135. I can’t imagine that it took more than 1 hour to sand less than 1/8 of an inch of cedar with a drum sander. I was told that some of the boards had to be sanded on the bottom as well-they were not-but I’m not sure what that would have to do with it anyways. Just a heads up to anyone wanting boards sanded here. Think I’ll just buy a 32” sander. At around $1000, it won’t take long to pay for itself if I need to pay $135 for every 3 boards I have sanded."
"Had a very tricky issue with a color change on a project (after 1st stain applied). Got exceptional advice and the best stain I've used in 40+ years of doing this type of work. Saved the project and countless hours to redo. They are now my #1 choice for anything dealing with wood finishes."
