"I was treated so poorly. I have never been treated so rudely before at a nail salon. I had to repeat myself several times because I just wanted my short nails with powder acrylic over it with clear polish. Helen argued with me and complained that my nails were short and that she couldn’t really do her job because of that she was trying to talk me into putting tips on I felt she just wanted to get more money out of me. and I had to repeat myself again several times telling her that I was not interested in that. I will never go back there again. my nails were not that short but I work with my hands so I want to keep them very manicured looking. But this place I warn you is not good."

"Used to love the work they do, but they're too money hungry for me to ever return. I'd been going here for at least a decade, and put my family and friends on to coming in as well. My mom ended up purchasing gift certificates for all of us to be able to spend time together. The pandemic happened and the certificates expired DURING Tip Top being closed. Fast forward a couple months after they re-open, my grandmother goes in and receives service. When she went to use the gift certificate they berated and embarrassed her about it being expired and wouldn't accept it. She didn't even realize there would be a problem because we'd never had any issues with certificate acceptance before. Two, she's a long time customer whose money has been good any other time, and that certificate was purchased with money. Three, it expired during them being closed; how is that the customer's fault? It didn't matter. My mother called and tried to resolve things amicably, and Helen was unwilling to bend. I even gave them an opportunity to make the situation right, and never heard back. Thus, they'll never see any of our dollars again. We tolerated them talking crazy TO and ABOUT us because we've been hard pressed to find another shop in the QC that is comparable, in terms of how we like our pedicures. I don't miss the toxic conversations and hectic environment with kids everywhere, side business deals taking place, and long waits though. So, I'm good. You'd also be good to go elsewhere if you want to be treated fairly + get the best service for what you pay."
