"12/26/23 I believe this is a normal business day. Website says the store is open. I have tried to call 3 times today to discuss a problem with defective boots. I am placed on hold immediately after making a selection from the automated answering service . I have been on hold for 28 minutes now. I guess they only do business face to face."

"Pretty decent place. The one lady that was working was very helpful. I did not have the size of boots that I wanted but apparently they can ship them to me free of charge. That definitely would have been nice to know. But at any rate I would definitely recommend and we'll for sure return. Excellent selection and prices are very fair. Boots on backorder."

"I bought a pair of boots on April 12th after being recommended to the place by a colleague while I traveling to the Quad Cities. I bought a pair of Michelin boots that were a little tight because they did not have a wide version onsite and that I could return it within 30 days if the boots were clean. On April 13th, I brought the boots to work and used them to cross the factory floor to where my cubicle would be located. I noticed while wearing it in the office that they were really uncomfortable on my ankle as I walked. I came to the store on April 14th just before returning to Des Moines to exchange for wider boots. They said I could not return the boots because I had worn them at work despite the boots being in new condition. Had I known this store had this policy, I would not have bought the boots. This is a $176.50 reminder for me to never shop here again and I will not recommend this store to anyone I know."

"Associate was nice and very helpful. Bought a pair of Carolina boots. The right boots leather in the tongue is pressing into my ankle bone horribly. $200 boot and it's painful to wear. Will be taking back and hopefully will recieve a pair that don't have the same issue. UPDATE: Rating changed from 2 to 5 stars. Qc safety helped me get into a more comfortable pair of boots and made sure that they were a good fit and felt right on my feet before I left. If you're looking for a good pair of work boots and people who care about getting the best pair that work right for your feet then QC Safety should definitely be your first and last stop."
