"I have never written a negative review before, but after my awful experience here, I felt I needed to. I was nothing but polite and needed some air in my tires to make it home during a negative degree day. I would have done it myself but the gas station air pumps weren’t working in the cold weather. This was the closest shop I could get to. John was extremely rude and disrespectful to me. He wasn’t there when I arrived, so I dealt with another technician who stopped what he was doing to help me. He was nothing but nice, and I appreciate him so much. (So thank you to whoever that was). I would have happily waited my turn since there was another customer in the shop, but without my asking, the technician helped me really quickly. After all air doesn’t take that long. John then showed up and was extremely rude, said I should have waited, and then he wanted $10 cash for the air. I didn’t have cash on hand, only my card, and then he rudely commented how he has to pay every time he runs the card machine. I told him to up charge to compensate, so he charged me $15 total to put air in my tires. I don’t even care about the money, but the fact he was so unnecessarily rude to someone who needed help is something that needs to be publicly shared. It’s a shame when family owned businesses treat people like this. This world is cruel enough to so many people, and it costs nothing to be kind. At the end of the exchange, I maintained my politeness and even thanked him after his complete disrespect. I hope he never treats another customer, especially a young woman needing help, like this ever again."

He's bailed me out a couple of times now. And he never raked me over the coals for price. I will definitely continue to count on Uhen's to save Mr in a pinch."
