"You will not go wrong with Phoenix Cycles. Doug and Dave are top-notch professionals and all-around great guys. They're excellent bike mechanics and they share the passion and understand the joys of bike riding. I've gone to them for two major cycling projects this past year: the restoration of my early 1990s Atala road bike - Dave got it to where it's riding like new; and the realization of my dream-bike: my 2022 Krampus custom-build. I feel like I'm riding on a cloud with my new "steed" and I have Dave and Doug to thank. Building a bike from scratch is serious business for any bike rider and I'm certainly glad I embarked on that journey with Doug and Dave!"

"If you're reading these reviews to determine if this is a worthy shop, consider how hard it is for a bike shop to maintain a 5.0 rating. After my visit, I completely understand it's merit. I was so lucky to have found Doug and Dave when my bike succumbed to a winter storm. Doug's face lit up when he came around the counter to look at the damage. I could tell he was a bike guy who was just excited about bikes. It was 10am, he said be back around noon. In 2 hours Doug not only fixed my bike, but got it working better than it did before my foolish wintry outing, and all for 1/2 the price I was anticipating. Because of Doug and Dave I was able to salvage the rest of my long weekend to Shawnee with a few more snowy rides. 110% recommend."
