"My best friend chose Laura because of her outstanding reviews, but our experience was anything but. My friend’s wedding dress was a couple sizes too big, and Laura consistently cited that as the reason she was unable to do anything we requested. The alterations needed were taking it in and hemming, but after Laura collected her $350, she treated my friend poorly and did not do the work promised. The dress was ill-fitting, and when my friend asked why it couldn’t be taken in more, Laura told her it wasn’t possible because of how the dress was made and didn’t give her any time or attention as she scheduled another client 15 minutes later (all of which I observed as I was at the appointment). Luckily, a family friend and amateur seamstress was able to make the alterations in under 24 hours, and my friend ended up loving her dress. We don’t know whether Laura was mistaken about what was possible with the dress or purposefully lazy or discriminatory (my friend and her mom are part of a minority group), but either way she was unprofessional and incompetent, so I cannot endorse her to anyone."

"Laura did alterations on my wedding dress, she is absolutely the best! I thought my dress fit well and I only needed a couple small alterations, but she ended up altering a lot and my dress fit so insanely perfectly (I didn't know by body could look that good). I had a very intricate dress too with lace and fancy edging. I loved the experience so much, my mom and bridesmaid went to her for their dress and other dresses. I will definitely be going back to Laura for any altering needs."
