Catchpenny Resale Shoppe

Catchpenny Resale Shoppe, located at 118 East Main Street in Barrington, Illinois, is a non-profit store supported by the Volunteer Auxiliary of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. Since 1972, we have been serving the greater Barrington community by offering quality clothing, housewares, and more for sale. Our proceeds go towards local health care scholarships, patient care at the hospital, and other community initiatives.

At Catchpenny Resale Shoppe, you can find new items added daily, with a total store turnover each season. We rely on donations of gently used clothing, housewares, jewelry, books, and toys, which are always appreciated. Our store operates with COVID safety guidelines in place.

We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, cash, checks with ID, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet. Please note that we are closed on major holidays, Sundays, and Mondays, and occasionally have reduced hours around holidays. Check our Google listing for the most up-to-date information.
