"Going in to my third year here. Staff is wonderful and always friendly. Quiet most of the time here and the other tenants are friendly. Convenient to downtown Round Rock and 35. Keep up the great work Sophia, Jessica, Jeremy and Ambrose."
"I've lived here for 4years and I have never seen a bug in my appartment, always had great experience with the property managers( Sophia) ! The matenence guys are great too, they are always picking up trash, working hard and still very friendly. If I call in a concern ( Ac going out or leaky drain) they come within that day to fix! I like the floor plan, it's defiantly an older building but they renovated about 2 years ago with new appliances. Great price for volted ceilings and space. Def check it out :)"
"If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Before we even got the keys to this place there was a problem. My husband and I were told by their "trainee" employee that we could get our keys on a certain date. This was a lie and we didn't get our keys until the next day. Granted I understand that it's only a day, but that lead to us having to pay for an additional day for the uhaul. We were upset, but something that had to be done. Everything since then has gone down hill. When we moved in there were so many problems with this apartment that I was afraid it was going to cave in. The ceiling and walls have cracks in them, so if they have a house party upstairs it will come down on our heads for sure. The sink frame is cracked, so when I'm washing dishes it leaks. The door frame to the master bedroom is chewed up from the previous tenants dog, and all they did was paint over it. Both bathrooms and kitchen drawer were wobbly and unstable. The "nice" hardwood floors that they put in before we moved in are very poorly done gaps every where and the space where the hardwood meets the carpet is coming up already and these floors are brand new... Pathetic! Things are definitely not in tip top shape when we moved in, but what could we do, we are now stuff in this lease. Again things are still going down hill. We got a call from Priscilla (front office manager) stating that we couldn't have fence trimming about the balcony, not a problem - it was taken down- Then she went on to say that our service animal has to be inside the apartment and not on the porch where he will go for some outside air. She stated that information to my husband, and then LIED and said it was a suggestion because our city ordinance comes around and if they see him out there more than 3 times they will do an investigation?! Are you serious?! She lied and then tried to cover it up with something that may scare us into keeping our dog inside at all times. I proceeded to take the lease to her and explained that no where in the lease does it say that our dog can not be on the porch. When I was in her face her story changed again. Second incident - They have an online payment system that allows you to pay your bills online, this includes rent and the water bill and any late fees that you may have. I've paid rent on this system about 2 times now, at ameila ridge you will not get a water bill for 2 months. Awesome right - wrong - We did not receive a water bill in the mail like you are supposed to, the only reason I knew I had a water bill was because I went in to ask if my package came in and was told, "Oh by the way your water bill is due," and when I told her I never received anything she stated that it looked like junk mail may have thrown it away. I am the type of person to look at everything that comes in the mail, because it may be important. So her statement to me was that I could pay online so that it wouldn't be late. I paid the water bill online and that was the end of it. I get a call 3 days later from the office and they tell me that the system has kicked the the payment back because of NSF (no funds) on the card and/OR a late fee. There were 2 things wrong with her statement - there was definitely funds in the account and we showed proof of that, and the payment was not late when I paid it. Her response to this was, "You may have put the card number in wrong, and it charged you for that," This online system is designed to rip you off and will not tell you if there is an error with the card, which I highly doubt. So an addition to having to pay 22.00 for the water bill, I had to pay 75.00 for a late fee OR an NSF charge which was false. 3rd incident - I was clearly very upset about having to pay this and spoke with Sophia about my concerns and 2 days later I get a call from Priscilla stating that I cursed the Sophia out and was acting, "Obnoxious." It was physically painful to be as nice as I was being, when on the inside I wanted to curse everyone out. These people are liars and if I could move today I would. DON'T move here trust me!"
"I am transferring to Austin and trying to find a place to live is a chore.... These apartments are close to where I will be working. Everything about the property was great...except they did not a 2 bedroom for me to move to. The people we nice and friendly and the property is really pretty. I just wish they had a two bedroom apartment. :)"
"We fell in love with the apartment!! they are great but that's all. The Management makes this place ugly. They are rude and disrespectful, and don't treat anyone fair. I recorded a video of me placing my dog's kennel on my patio for about 30 mins while I cleaned my apartment. In the video i stated the date and when I put the kennel out on my patio I also showed another apartment that had a kennel and cooler on their patio for a month. and with in the hour of me putting it out there I got a knock on my door from the management telling me that they are going to fine me because it was out side. when I told her that she isn't being fair to everyone that lives here she told me that I should be and example to others like I was five!!! I also wrote them to let them know that my dog is roaming freely in my apartment and she doesn't like men and to let me know when they plan on entering my apartment. So I can make sure that I have her put up, they then told me okay and when I got home they had entered my apartment with out letting me know. The apartments are also ran poorly maintenance wise, the guys who fix the things are all nice but just barely fix things here and there. There are several things that need to be updated and remodeled. The AC units are old and run twice as hard so therefore even with cheap electric your bills are still high, overall you can get better apartments for the same price or a little more and be way better off than living in this place. The only thing it has is a nice breeze from a big open field and the scenery of the trees. All this Because we live by their Model!"
