Reviews of Regency at Santa Rita Ranch
"Beautiful community"
"We're building our dream home here. So far it's been a wonderful experience. We can't wait to live in the neighborhood."
"The Leander model was the only model I was interested in viewing as all the other models had walk in closets in the master bath & in my opinion that's an issue due to moisture accumulation in bathrooms. I will be 70 soon, my daughter purchased a home in Santa Rita, so I was excited about the Regency, which is a planned retirement community near my daughter's home. Although the model I looked at was nice, the development, as previously stated, is supposed to be a retirement community, but the home designs speak more to a younger crowd. I currently have a 1644 sq. ft. home, but the Leander model I toured is just under 2000 sq ft. This model has a very impressive entry, but if you want that front porch in your Texas home, that'll be another $15K. The kitchen ceilings are at least 9' high, but the cabinets, which are barely deep enough for a 10" dinner plate, only go up about 7', leaving a gaping blank wall above, or for another $15K you can get an upper set of cabinets....and will need a ladder to access anything in those cabinets. The pantry was, quite frankly, a joke. It's a very shallow closet & would not be good for "garaging" those occasionally used large appliances. A reminder that this is a retirement community. The back patio porch was nice, but if you want it to go the lenghth of the house, as it was displayed in the model, that will be at least another $15K. The extended floor space in the living area is nice, but if you want that wall with the cabinets & counters, as pictured, that's another $20K. The primary bedroom, as with the 2nd bedroom, are nice and roomy, & the walk in closet was as well. I was not impressed with the master bath, though. It has too much unnecessary floor space & a huge shower. Friends of mine who bought a home in St. George, UT have a similar bathroom in their master, and spend more time squeegeing the shower glass than they do showering. Also, because of the size of the shower, my friends say it gets too cold inside the shower in the winter. Additionally, there's a huge stand alone tub in that bathroom, which my friends also have in their home. My friend was excited to have a nice, soaking tub--until she couldn't get out & needed her husband's help. Worse yet, because of the size of the bathroom she had to be submerged in the tub to stay warm. A reminder that this is supposed to be a retirement community. I was told that the tub in the model was an option, but if there is no tub, that means there's even more wasted space. All in all, I really was not impressed with the Leander model that I toured at Regency."
"Exciting new development with extension amenity center and luxury homes with impressive curbside appeal!! Every homeowner gets to turn a new page in enjoying meeting new neighbors and participating in a lot of fun activities of their choosing. Who wouldn't want this!!"
"Gorgeous new 55+ community designed for people wanting an active and fun, adult lifestyle. Toll Brothers is the builder and the homes are FABULOUS!!!! Excellent fit and finish and high quality everything! Think Travisso! The best part is these amazing homes start at $459k and top at $470k base. I was expecting them to be much, much more!"
