"This was my first experience shopping at Johnston and Murphy and it was wonderful. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and attentive walking me through the current deals, newest items, and science of the varied materials used. He even brought a variety of shoes to match both outfits. I ended up getting 2 versatile outfits thanks to the salesmanship shown to me. If you're thinking of heading back into the office this store will set you up right!"

"I bought a pair of boots for $200 and the quality was terrible. After a few days I noticed the fronts were already getting scuffed. After about a week, other parts of the boots were scuffed and the sides were starting to fall apart. I work in an office job so It isn’t like I was wearing them outside in the snow or rain or anything. When I first bought them, I specially asked if the quality was good and they assured me that it was “great” they also kept trying to push me to buy an $80 belt and a $25 shoehorn despite me saying no multiple times. I called the store to try and return the boots and they claimed that I couldn’t because “it’s all about how I take care of them and because now they are used they wouldn’t take them back”. I returned them online with no issues at all."

"Was in town from St. Louis and stopped in the store. A nice young man named Devin(sp?) was incredibly friendly and helpful. When they didn't have my size, he even recommended another pair.
