"I am positively enamored with this place! Every detail is pitch perfect each time I come, and I am always proud to see my guests reactions as they experience each bite. Tonight we shared the wonderful fried artichokes, so flavorful, delicate and perfect. I enjoyed the old fashioned which is always perfect, and my dinner companions had a variety of cocktails which all raised eyebrows with delight. For dinner I chose to try the Peach Speck Pizza this time and oh how wonderful it was. The crust was a perfect balance of fluffy, chew, and crispness. The balance and variety of flavors in the toppings was a wonderfully subtle adventure, cool because it’s well designed and masterfully crafted. The service was top notch, friendly and professional. Date night? Go! Friends in town? Go! Business dinner? Go! Just human and hungry? Go to Katie’s!"

"Katie’s tries hard to be hip, and mostly succeeds. The music was a bit loud for me on a late Wednesday afternoon. However, the energetic mix of folksy and 80’s music, combined with simple clean decorations, casual staff uniform, and relaxed staff attitude…it works. Food is also REALLY good. Tasty, healthy sized portions. Pictured are three appetizers: pork/beef meatballs, ricotta stuffed fried squash blossom appetizer, and bread service. I thoroughly enjoyed them all. If I lived near St Louis, I would definitely go back. The menu appears to be a tasteful blend of classic Italian and modern Food Network American culture."

"Really great food. Its all handmade pasta and pizza dough. The lemon paccheri pasta is a must. We also got meatballs (incredible!!!), the chop salad (pretty good), & the chanterelle lasagnotte (good, but I would not order again). The servers are happy and friendly, although we felt a little ignored- but that could have been because they were busy (went on a saturday night/ homecoming night for a local HS). Because it was my birthday, they also gave us ricotta doughnuts-- i don't care how full you feel after the meal, you have to order those! Portions are big & worth the cost. The black garlic burrata & figs with ricotta looked really delicious and i wish we got those too!"

"The food here is absolutely delightful, and on par with one of my favorite pizza places in San Francisco. The Figs on our dishes are locally sourced and since it’s in season, arrive daily. The fig burrata was quite possibly the best appetizer I’ve had in a while. The bread they give you to dip in it is hot and clearly just out of the oven. Will be coming back here more, especially if there is more seasonal and locally sourced food!"

"I have been wanting to get over here for awhile to try it . Glad I did it was exceptional. We sat outside on the patio . It was nice out there and still received great service. A lot of time the patio is an afterthought I think . I ordered the pear pizza. Very good and interesting flavor combination. The crust which they make here was exceptional. We also had the fried artichokes as an appetizer. It was good but not my favorite. I would definitely go back here again . It's pricey but the food is good"
