"Great place to walk around and look at historic buildings. The oldest house built in Montgomery is there with a few log cabins. Behind the park is a lake and memory park with lots of memorials and is nice to walk around. There is a waterfall going from the Fernland entrance down to the lake. The library is also located there."
"I’m sad! We came to visit our daughter here and this was one of the places we wanted to visit! I checked the website it said they were open until 3pm. The weather was great. We got there at 1:30. Completely locked up! Very angry, everything was locked up! I tried calling, went directly into voicemail and all the message said was “leave a message “ yeah real professional! I will definitely spread the work on our disappointment with this historical park!"
"Hidden gem. Easy to walk. Lots of history in Montgomery. Julie was gracious host and a great representative for the park."
"We came across this park after going to the nearby mini-golf and we are so glad we did! The history behind the historical houses is so interesting and the docent who gave us a tour was so knowledgeable, engaging and funny. Highly recommended if you are in the area and want to know more about local history."
