"If you are in Wharton and making a Buc-ees stop, then dive 5 minutes further and stop at this park! They have the coolest Little Free Library and other fun areas"
"Great little roadside park with a view of the river and a dinosaur that is probably older than you. I was in Rosenberg and saw sign for Wharton and this was on my “saved” listed to see. Great quick leg stretch before we headed homes"
"I also wanted to see a Fred Flinstone car and Barney Rubble. But the dinosaur did not disappoint and is a terrific landmark that helped me find the house where historians and scholars jam, sing, laugh and have the best conversations. Wharton County Junior College makes Texas unforgettable. Professor Justin Guidry plays the banjo with heart and when he picked up a guitar to sing Paul Simon's "America," and sang, "Let us be lovers we'll marry our fortunes together." His voice was soft and romantic as he serenaded his wife. What a fantastic way to celebrate the conclusion of ASAT's 66th annual conference in Wharton. To Profesors and incredible musicians Hector Weir and John Schulze, and Professors and fellow writers Cassy Burleson and Sean Ferrier-Watson, you scholars have the deepest creative and stellar minds. Thank you. To the 67th American Studies Association of TEXAS! EEEEEEHHHHHHAAAW! TURN IT UP! LOUD! Have ukelele, mandolin, bongo drums will travel."
"Nice park, lots of slides, could use a restroom facility. Needs a little TLC for cobwebs and trash though."
