Elicious Southern Style Breakfast and Brunch

"I have been driving pass this place for a while but had never stopped in so this morning I decided to go and try it out. Coming in it felt like home. Very welcoming the atmosphere is inviting and a pleasure to experience. To add it was a delight to run into Sly(I believe his name is) his rhymes graced my childhood and it was amazing for him to grace my ears again and brighten my day. Unfortunately my hopes were dreaded by the quality of the food. Its looks amazing but was luke warm and the turkey sausage looked and tasted fake. I enjoyed my catfish but I am still hungry. I do know the love was in the atmosphere but is missing in the food. Hopefully i can try it out again. Peace and blessing to you all."

"The food came out hot and in a timely manner. The waiters interacted with the customers. The atmosphere was great. The music volume was just right you could still have a conversation."

"Our waitress was cordial.I ordered an egg white omelette and was told that it couldn’t be made without butter, which I found odd. I asked the waitress to inquire with the cook and it was made with some sort of oil. My omelette was burnt and greasy. I took two bites and that was it. The coffee tastes like Folgers. They also have powered Coffee Mate for cream. Cheap and unacceptable. Also, no non dairy options. The food was akin to cafeteria food. Why are egg beaters being used as a substitution for real eggs? My friend only ate their pancakes and got a ToGo box and gave it to his dog. Totally not worth it for $46. I will not return."

"The fried chicken and waffles were delicious! I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, not salty at all. The waffle was fluffy. The atmosphere was good. I loved that there were customers of a certain age at the time we went. The conversations were mature. The service was great. We didn't wait at all to be seated and we didn't have to wait long for our food either."

"The restaurant is very nice. We didn’t wait long. Our waitress was GREAT and very professional and very knowledgeable of the menu. Our food was pretty good just nothing was hot. Everything was warm and a warm like it had been sitting for a while. We got shrimp n grits, traditional breakfast, catfish fillet, home fries, scrambled eggs and everything would’ve been even better if it had of been hot or at least a little bit warmer than what it was. I will consider returning but hopefully the food is hot next time. The mimosas were delicious"
