"Edit: As of June 2023, Blackrock has fully paid their outstanding balance. We are a trucking and aggregates subcontractor that partnered with Blackrock on a project located in Waco, Texas. It was difficult collecting payment in the final stages of our project, with someone from our team having to visit the owner's home to collect the majority of our final checks. At the conclusion of the contract Blackrock became very minimally responsive, offering only excuses as to why they were unable to produce the checks owed to us. Our final set of invoices were outstanding for over 500 days before payment was made. We will not be partnering with Blackrock on any future projects under any circumstances."

"Very unprofessional. Caution Sub contractors This company will make you chase down your money for a for a job that has been finished. My husband did a job for them, completed on time and was told he'd be paid at completion. Upon completion he was told he would be paid after the weekend, mind you this is on a Friday around lunch time. After the weekend came there were no answer to our phone calls for 2 days. Finally day 3 he was told he would have to drive 2 hours away to go pick up his check if he didn't want to wait for it in the mail. ( Thats alot of trust for a company that will not answer their phone calls) So not only did he have to spend more money to go get the money he had already earned but he had to waste precious time. Upon arrival at the office he found the guy that hired him to do the job was there and could have just brought his paycheck to him. Then he was asked to sign an affidavit because he had contacted the city of Waco for the issue of non payment with them. Like he did something wrong, not them. City of Waco has been contacted and made aware of the Shady dealings of this company. I would be very cautious doing any work for them possibly get your money up front if you want to get paid in a timely manner. Don't take my word for do a little research yourself simply try calling their main number and see if you can get anybody to answer. Also read other reviews on Google. I know we will next time we do business with the new company."
