"Should have read the reviews before going with them for auto insurance. Accident was 30 days ago and vehicle is still not paid off or any of my belongings out. They never respond, then will lowball you to death. Worst insurance company out there. Do. Not. Use."

"Worst insurance company that I have ever had to work with. Bought credit protection for my travel trailer through my dealer and this is the company that they used. They have done nothing but delay paying what they are supposed to. Fill out a piece of paper, then that's not good enough, they have you fill out another. Get all that filled out, then that's not good enough. Then get transferred to someone else and go through it all again. Then this person needs different paperwork than what the others had you fill out. It's nothing but a run around in hopes you give up and they don't have to pay out."

"Adjusters will not answer you and will not return your calls. You’re only able to speak to the one adjuster they assign to you regarding anything to do with your claim, and they do not do their job. I heavily advise you to look into a different insurance company. Thank you Heather Tate for not doing your job! Real big help!"

"Do not trust Pekin as your insurance provider. This company will not provide you support when you need them the most. After nearly 20 years of being a Pekin customer, with zero property or auto claims, I had to call on them for support when a tornado struck our home 18 months ago. We have tried to find local contractors that will complete repairs according to Pekin’s scope of work but none are willing due to the extensive structural damage. Even after hiring a structural engineer to know if our home would safe, Pekin is unwilling to compromise and do the right thing. Adam Moyers at Pekin made an agreement to pay us support to live on our property in a camper we purchased. In December of 2022 he broke that promise and we were forced to sell the camper. Currently my wife and I are living in a utility shed on the property at our own expense. Do NOT put your faith in Pekin Insurance to be there when you need. You will be highly disappointed!"
