"Really cool place. Definitely worth visiting. The history is really interesting."
"It's a great Texas historical site. As a native Texan, it was great to learn more about those who fought and died for the independence of Texas. Neat to learn how it was rebuilt. I am grateful to all who have donated and volunteered to make this such a wonderful historical site that we can visit."
"We had an amazing time! The staff was very helpful. My visit was wonderful, I love history and learning about Texas Histor."
"The Presidio is an interesting place and one that tells the history of how the Texas Republic was formed and the battles with the armies of Mexico. It does cost $5 but there is a 50 cent discount for seniors."
"My husband & I loved walking through the museum areas & the Chapel was one of the prettiest we have ever seen. 2 bus loads of teenagers showed up while we were on the grounds and it was impressive how the historical tour guides handled them. The sweet lady behind the counter that greeted us made us feel very welcome. We are so happy that we visited. Great video to start out the tour too."
