Reviews of Blue Line Bike Lab
"The team brought back to life my beloved Pashley. Outstanding friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff; a must go-to independently owned store. If you love your bike, this is the place to go"
"Went in to get my two bikes serviced. Greeted by Fred and promptly sent to the service area. Jimmy, the service manager, checked my bikes out to see what was needed on it. Stated things look good, lubed up my chains. Recommended some new tires for my bike (to which I purchased) and I went on my way. No charges for checking out the bike, applying the lube on the chains and some minor fixes that took less than 15 minutes. I would've also gladly paid for Jimmy's time if he asked, but there was no charge. Not to mention, Jimmy took his time to answer my questions about bike maintenance and even provided tips on how to ensure my bike is taken care of so it can ride better and last longer. My experience here was much better than where I originally bought my bikes. They were friendly and weren't pushy on anything. I'm a bike noob, they could've stated I needed a detailed tune up and I would've went with it. But, they didn't. In my short experience they were friendly and honest and that's enough to get me coming back and recommending folks to check them out."
"Look I know everyone loves this place but I'm on a very tight budget so after buying a bike second hand I brought it in to have them look at it. Well one of my spokes was loose and couldn't afford to pay for it and the service fee. So I just bought the spoke thinking I could replace it myself. I didn't know I'd need a dedicated spoke wrench. All I needed was to use one of there's for 2 seconds and they flat refused me. And I'm not trying to be cheap I literally have 7 dollars to my name. All I'm saying is a little compassion would be nice. I can't respond so I'm editing my original review. Is that a joke? I've only ever been in your store 3 times. And I have definitely never drank any of your beer. I really hope you have me confused with someone else. Otherwise, your either straight up lying or you're just a prick trying to be funny. I mean seriously, you're a business owner..."
"Love these guys. They've worked on 3 of my bikes (aluminum roadie, carbon roadie, and steel single speed) over the years and they've always done great work. Their mechanics are very knowledgeable, and courteous as well when I had questions. Bike repair/maintenance prices have always been very fair when I've gone in. This includes fixing two almost VERY expensive damages done to one of the road bikes by a "expert bike friend" before I knew better than to just let someone go wild on your bike that's not really trained. Saved me a cool $300 easily on that one trip in. Planning to order my next road bike with them as well after the guy in the shop told me about one of the lines of women's specific bicycles (liv) since I want to get away from specialized and was lamenting about not keeping my old Giant."
"A great bike shop that came through when I was in a pinch and needed to replace my inner tube! I had also purchased a seat while I was getting my tube replaced, I will say that the accessories are a bit pricey which is the only reason why I'm giving it four stars. I feel that their service prices are a little bit on the higher end compared to other shops as well. I don't know if they get any sort of commission from selling, but he had a really good pitch about this particular seat and I needed something more comfortable so I bought it! Unfortunately my bike along with my new seat got stolen a couple months later, so there goes my investment, but overall everybody was incredibly friendly and informative about what I could do with my ongoing nail in the tire situation."
