"Traveled several hours for a weekend of wining and dining with the boys, nothing beats finishing a weekend with the boys than a lil' round of golf. They turned us down and charged us full price for being 5 minutes late. One of the kids almost let us play until the other one talked him out of it. I'm pretty happy we didn't play this course in the end, considering from the parking lot the grass was as brown as Biden's underwear after the debate in 2020. They maintain this course like I show up on time, not the best. But the difference is when I show up people smile, when we showed up we in fact, did not smile."

"Course was in great shape for the end of winter. Marshal was out monitoring pace of play. The greens were in great shape with just a few bad spots and the workers were out taking care of those."

"I am very disappointed in the management. I am a disabled veteran with a left prosthetic leg. I been to many courses even after a rain they still accommodated me to drive with the cart on the fairways due to my disability, but today they said I was not able to. I had a group of 7 so I decided to follow their rules and try. After 9 holes I was in so much pain to a point I could not concentrate playing. The condition of the fairways were dry and I just couldn’t understand why they couldn’t make an exception. I asked for a partial refund and they refused and only offered raincheck for back 9. I am not coming back if they are that heartless towards people that are truly disabled. P.S. Another thing is that in hole 9, we were told we were half a hole behind(part of the reason could have been me trying to navigate the course by walking) and Marshall told us we can drive on the fairways to catch up.....I was like....what??!! That means they could have made some exception for me to drive on there to begin with....This was another reason why I will not come back...just didn't make sense whatsoever."

"Honestly this place is just a disappointment. Ive played here 50+ times since I live in the neighborhood, but just can’t deal with this place anymore. - World renowned for slow rounds, don’t expect to play quickly here. 4.5h is quick. 6h happens - Course is in mediocre shape this year. You would think with how they overbook the course they would reinvest in the course. - Staff and management are ridiculous. Just little to no common sense or customer service. It’s raining this morning and my buddies and I decided to rain check, apparently they will charge me for late cancellation. Go F yourself, it’s a Monday afternoon round in January. Not Saturday morning in May. - The staff acts so cool, but they are useless, hope they get replaced by AI soon. Honestly why do we need pro shop staff? Online check in, get those guys working on the course condition and pace of play. Place needs new leadership. Gave 2 star for the love of the game, can’t 1 star a golf course."

"Tera(ble)vista Golf Course (lol terrible pun honestly) I want to preface this review by saying that for every bad review I give, I also try to give a positive review for places that deserve it. Although I was very excited to play Teravista after not playing there in 10+ years, I am unable to leave a positive review. For $124.32 (Saturday 8:56 AM Tee Time) - I hit 1/2 of a small bucket (all the bays were full), practice putt on a green that looked like a bunker (actually very similar to most of the greens on the course), and played 17.5 holes. The first 4 holes we waited on every tee box for 5+ minutes. This didn't bother my group much especially because the group ahead of us was significantly older. By Hole 5, we no longer had to wait which was a surprise. On Hole 6, we were told to pick up the pace (which we did). We tried to explain to the marshal, that we were held up on the first four holes, but that did not matter. On Hole 9, a marshal told us that the GM made a decision to "move us up". We were all very confused by this decision because by that time we were a little over 2 hours in the round. We were ESCORTED past the cart girl (that sucked because we were out of brews) to 100 yards away from the green on Hole 9. The situation became more perplexing because the older group was on the green, and we had to wait an addition 5 minutes for them to finish out the hole. HUH?!?! It didn't make a ton of sense to move us up at that point because we waited for the next 5 holes (10-14) for the older group to play out far enough for us to tee off. Understandably, my group was pretty upset, and this ruined the rest of the round for all of us. The cherry on top was seeing a used condom on one of the fairways leading up to a green. GROSS. At least SOMEONE is having a good time on this golf course...You would think with all the marshals circling around that one of them would get this taken care of. We ended up finishing our round in 4 Hrs, 14 Mins. I appreciate Teravista for having a focus on pace of play, but this went too far! For $120ish, SAVE YOUR MONEY! There are plenty of quality Austin-Area golfing experiences for the same amount of money or less (shout out to Star Ranch). Tera(ble)vista Golf Course is certainly NOT one of them."
