Super 8 by Wyndham Marion

"I've been staying here for years 2 or 3 nights 2 times a month, Diamond member. Wyndham app wasn't working so called motel a day in advance to reserve 2 nights. Checked in on 1st reserved day, stayed overnight to be told next day only reserved 1 night. Manager refused to give me my rate for 2nd night. Sad their willing to lose a customer for $10. Crappy internet back of motel. Few tv channels. No HBO. Rooms so so"

"Location is horrible. The rooms are what you pay for. My coffee maker didn't work. Had to turn the heat up to 78 just to be comfortable, and it wasn't too cold outside. It says free breakfast, but judging by everything else I think I will avoid whatever they toss out (it really can't be much since nothing else is) Again, you get what you pay for, but I'll try a different cheap hotel next time, or just spend $40 extra Dollars on some place much nicer. Didn't care too much for this place. They have some nice pictures of farms and cornfields on the walls just in case you start to miss it from all those miles of farms and cornfields you just drove through to get here."

"Check-in was very easy; however, the room was not up-to-standards. I’ve stayed at Super 8 in other states, as well as out of the U.S, and this location may have been the worst. The AC in the room would not work properly as it would continue shutting off after five minutes of it being on. The microwave would not work, nor did majority of the plugs in the room I stayed. Since I stayed for one night, I did not bother asking to change rooms as I was already settled. Waking up in the morning, I went to the lobby to get breakfast. The other Super 8 locations I stayed at usually served waffles, eggs, sausage/bacon, several types of cereal, and more. This location did not do any of that. For starters, the breakfast being served were eight frozen biscuits. At least there were make-your-own waffles, but after seeing the frozen biscuits, I lost my appetite. The check-out process was simple as well, so nothing to complain about there. All-in-all, the service of the staff was good; however, the amenities of this Super 8 location are well-below average. I would recommend finding another location to stay if you plan on staying for more than one-night."

"I used to stay here for every trip and it was decent but after the remodel, I believe there are new owners. The room had black mold in the air conditioner. There was a tissue on the smoke detector so they could smoke. The bathroom was discussing and the beds had dog hair all in them [they allow pets] we even had to switch rooms because they were so gross and smelled of cigarettes. The room they gave us was just as bad, so you know the whole place is gross. Please do not stay here for your own health. The carpet was so dirty that our feet were black on the bottom after only one night. I even paid for a new hotel and just let them keep the money because I felt so disgusting here."

"First of all I want to say that this was a comfortable bed and room was clean. I wear earplugs but Was woke at 4am from noise @ truck stop next door and 5am republic waste truck pickup. Breakfast was mediocre to say the least had gravy and biscuits no meat in the gravy and no eggs ,no fruit. Was unable to put up with the loud foreign language coming from the front desk so took my breakfast to the room. The price was a good value however you have no elevator and it is a walk-up hotel ."
