"We did our son’s wedding at Sonterra and it was beautiful! From the flowers to the food to the service- 5 star! Thank you Marissa and Touch of Elegance for such wonderful memories!"
"My husband and I went here for a work awards dinner. The chicken was a little dry but the cream sauce it was in was good. Absolutely delicious ribeye."
"I can confidently say that no one is happy with the management or conditions of the Country club. The club is in terrible condition! No successful events. It has only gotten worse every year. I have contacted Nathan many times in person and online and he does not care what I have to say. I have never seen such a horrible country club. They do not decorate so the place."
"This club is a huge disappointment. There are many nice people there but it’s the bad ones that run the place, and the club lets it happen. The inmates run the asylum! Upper management refuses to listen, they make zero changes and don’t care about the members. About two years ago, they sent out a member survey where you rate things 1-5. No written feedback, and they controlled the questions. So of course, all is well, right? Of course, they will tell you what you want to hear. The club has let much of their staff go and the maintenance of the golf course really shows it. They are trying to sell it. The service is very slow— sometimes waiting 45 minutes+ to get your order. The food is largely fried— perhaps dinners are better. For your monthly fees, you are given access to the club. Period. No extras, no programs, no help. If you are new to the area, there are no clinics or weekly programs to help assimilate you. If you want a clinic, you have to arrange for it yourself. And the tennis pros are independent contractors! I’m a believer that attitude reflects leadership and it is terrible at Sonterra. If someone buys this place, please clean house and get someone who makes that member service should be a priority. This club has the potential to be nice but not under management who pretends everything is great- when you can see that it isn’t!."
"Good food and vibes. Really enjoyed listening to live music near the tennis courts."
