"Did the kayak tour for the bats some years ago, one of the best things I've done. The guide was very informative. Highly recommend"
"10/10 ALL THE STARS, if you’re looking for a place to paddle board/kayak for the first time or anytime for that matter this is it! we had never paddled before and we chose to come here randomly, $25 for an hour, the staff was the nicest group of people we have probably ever met, we had a blast laughing with them at the dock and overall, photo opps are endless and beautiful, so much so we’re returning again tomorrow to paddle again. i have never had such a blast doing something in this city. i’m certain some people are apprehensive because it is riverside but it is less crowded, cleaner, and just overall a nicer area to paddle and not feel suffocated. there’s a parking garage to park your car while you’re out which you don’t have to pay for, 10/10 would do again. thank you to everyone there, we brought a friend from out of town and she is in love with the city because of it! ♥️"
"Great experience! The tour was super informative and the guide (Dan I think?) was awesome. They give a brief kayak lesson before sending you off to the bridge. I knew nothing about the bats here in Austin before the tour yesterday and learned a lot! Very cool to see them from the kayaks. Would recommend this tour. Worth the $55 per person. On the water for about 2-2.5 hours."
"I cannot say enough good things about this place. Our experiences here were phenomenal. We rented by the hour on Saturday and came right back for the Bat Tour on Sunday night. Our guide Dan was awesome and made the tour so interesting, comical, and overall extremely enjoyable. Everyone who worked there was so cool and friendly. The parking garage was free, close to the store front, and felt safe. They had lockers for our stuff and we had no issues whatsoever with leaving it there. If we ever get to come back to Austin, we will absolutely rent from Live, Love, Paddle again! Loved it so much."
"One of the best experiences in Austin. Went for kayaking on a cloudy day in fall. View of the building from the river is something interesting. I would assume it would be great if you visit at the time of sunset or at night view. Obviously kayaking or this kind of activities are exhausting but I would say a must do. If you like island kind of kayaking you can take your kayak to a different direction too. Very warm and friendly staff and reasonable pricing too. Restroom nearby is not clean as you want it to be. If you want to change your clothes, be prepared to go somewhere else."
