Reviews of Digital Nomad Trips
"I just returned a few weeks ago from the first Digital Nomad Trip, which was in Costa Rica, and wish I could have stayed longer! None of us knew what to expect going into it, but it exceeded my expectations and I had an incredible month with an amazing group of people. I wanted a change of scenery, to experience something new and exciting and meet some awesome people. This is exactly what I got out of this experience, and more. I enjoyed staying in the same location for the month and really getting to know the local places and people. Working during the week there was quite flawless and it was just business as usual. There was wifi all over the hostel and a coworking space open to us everyday. The weekend activities were varied and fun, and it was nice that it was all set up for us. We also did some excursions that we booked on our own during a free day, so you still have a choice of how you spend your time there. The upscale hostel we stayed at was a great place to be during our time in Manuel Antonio and DNT did a good job picking an accommodation in a prime location, which was close to lots of restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. I felt like I was able to really immerse myself in my surroundings as much or as little as I wanted. Before the trip departed, there was always someone readily available by email to help answer any questions or concerns I had, and it did help me feel more prepared for the trip. There are also emails sent out with a packing list and all other necessary info needed to get ready. Overall it was the best month I could have asked for and I can’t wait to do another DNT month."
"I went on the first Digital Nomad trip to Costa Rica and absolutely loved it. They provided us with good accommodations, a 24/7 co-working space (with views of the jungle and ocean), and amazing food (all breakfasts and several group dinners covered). Of course, the company was awesome and I hope to travel with several of my new friends again. Several activities were also part of the trip, including a guided tour through the national park and a hike to some beautiful waterfalls. There was also plenty of optional activities, like kayaking, food tours, and zip-lining. Essentially, you could make the trip as busy or relaxed as you wanted and as your schedule would allow. By the end of my time in Costa Rica, I felt confident to travel out on my own and had some local places where I felt more like a "regular." That was in large part thanks to the Digital Nomad/U30X team for setting us up so well."
"I went on the very first DNT to Costa Rica this past February for two weeks. It’s very evident that the company cares deeply about making sure everyone involved has a good time! They were very flexible and accommodating to what the group wanted including adjusting days or times for planned activities when conflicting preferences arose (such as rescheduling a group dinner for the next night when many people wanted to take salsa lessons). The company had great personal recommendations based on years of doing business and living in the area and often times helped arrange transportation or reservations when we wanted to do things beyond the DNT-sponsored activities. They soliticed feedback every step of the way and I have every confidence in the company and would (and have) recommend them."
