Captain Murphys Deep Sea Fishing

"Great boat ride and tour of Port of Brownsville with Captain Murphy and crew Ethan and Angie. Enjoyed coffee and donuts in the morning. Slowed many times to watch the dolphins swimming along side the boat. The return trip included a snack of fresh bay shrimp and more dolphin watching. Highly recommend!"

"We did the tour up to the Port of Brownsville. It was pretty amazing to see the big ships getting taken apart, and all the other activity up there. Our Captain, Patrick, was very knowledgeable about everything, and Angie and Eason (sp?) were great too! All were friendly and helpful... and the coffee, doughnuts, and shrimp were delicious!"

"We had 2 fantastic experiences with Captain Murphy’s. One evening, we did the bay fishing trip. Crew was fun and funny and though we didn’t catch any keepers, the evening was awesome, we saw dolphins, and enjoyed a great sunset. The following day, we did the deep sea trip. The ride out was long, but beautiful and totally worth it. Once we stopped, you barely had to wait after you dropped your line for a hit. We both hit our limit really quickly and fished catch and release for the rest of our time. The crew was immensely helpful to rookies like us. When we returned to shore, they cleaned and filleted our catch for us. The only advice I heard of theirs I didn’t follow was that we took our catch to Nautico Island Grill instead of where they recommended. I’m sure their recommendation would have been great, but Nautico’s was some of the best fish we’ve ever tasted. Thanks to everyone on the Captain Murphy’s staff and crew. They gave us some wonderful trips we’ll always remember!"
