"They were trying to remove the whole top part of my teeth to sell me dentures and I’m only 26 years old. My teeth were savable with much less expense, my teeth weren’t as bad as they were making it seem and the place I’m at now 4.9 starts I might add, almost has me back at my best doing treatments little by little. They also have payment plans and savings plans for people with no insurance. AVOID GOING HERE YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY."

"Literally the WORST dentist experience I’ve ever had. The doctor that I was seen by was so rude that I was about ready to cry. He had absolutely no patience for my questions on my treatment options. I was visibly so uncomfortable and the doctor continued to be rude and condescending. “That would literally cost a car.” Because he just so rudely assumed that I couldn’t afford that type of treatment. You think he would have been more compassionate and comforting after basically telling me that all of my teeth are so bad that I need dentures. Which is devastating to hear at the age of 33. I might have been able to look past how filthy the place looked too if my experience wasn’t so awful. The only positives were the dental assistants were nice and same with the gum specialist. Definitely do not and will not ever recommend this place. The conduct of the doctor was so disturbing and unprofessional. And I’m not one to complain or leave comments but the experience was literally that bad. I was holding back tears. No one should ever have to be treated that way or made to feel the way I was by a “professional” ever…."

"Highly recommend you to go anywhere other than Aspen Dental in machesney Park, IL. First if you have any dental anxiety issues go somewhere else. They do not care. Second they told me I need a top denture and lower partial. I could not afford both so I did the top denture. The teeth of the top immediate denture are way too small and never lined up with my bottom teeth. They said that’s it’s fine because they are not my permanent dentures. I cannot tear a piece of lettuce with them. But this is normal they said and fine. When I went in for my permanent top denture, they were horrid. I have never had buck teeth but these teeth were terrible. They curved into my gums in the front that caused my gums to bleed when I tried to take them out. The dentist was more concerned about me getting bottom dentures even though I was told I needed a bottom partial not denture. He also stated to keep these horrible top dentures until I get my bottom denture and they would make the bottoms to line up with the top. He never offered to pay for bottom dentures for or ask me if it was something I could afford. But the top will still be horrible so I’m not sure how that solves anything. Then I am told they will remake the dentures but I have to accept whatever they make and agree I will not be eligible for a refund. Who is going to accept something without ever seeing it first? And why would I accept something so important sight unseen? Photo on left is immediate and photo on right is permanent."

"If you want to feel like a product on an assembly line than this is your place. If you want to be heard and treated like a human being then avoid this place at all costs! Not only was I not listened to about the pain my broken tooth was giving me, I was humiliated and treated like I was not important at all. I left in even more pain and with the same issue I had walking in. There was not one ounce of compassion in the entire 2 hour visit I had. They only care about money. They had no issues taking my insurance for the money and leaving me feeling overwhelmed, in even more pain, and more self conscious about myself then I already was feeling. I have never had a worse experience than this. Save yourself your time and dignity and don't bother going here. Pretty sure the medical creed is first do no harm and they did not display one ounce of that. I left feeling worse about myself and in more pain. I cannot stress enough how horrible this experience was for me."

"I went for a consult regarding wisdom teeth removal as my dentist does not complete. The place was the dirtiest i have ever seen for a dental office. I was there an hour after open and the floors looked like they have not been swept or mopped for weeks. The area that the instruments were had debris build up and did not look like it had been wiped down/cleaned/sanitized recently. I do not recommend going to this office due to risk of infection. In addition, they did a full set of X-rays after claiming they could not use the ones sent over from my dental office. They also had a hygienist see me (for whatever reason) although i was not there for a cleaning. The hygienist was poking around in my mouth and then stated i have gingivitis despite just seeing my dental hygienist 3 weeks prior for a cleaning and no such thing was mentioned. I believe this place is a money pit and would not recommend."
