"DO NOT COME HERE. I have been a customer of Suburban Automotive for about 5 - 7 years, but after yesterday, I will never return. I dropped my car off for an oil change, and when they called me after looking at my car, they said I needed approximately $900 of repairs, including a new sway bar and a tire rotation. I immediately knew something was off, as I had gotten new tires only 2-3 months ago, and thus, there would be no need for a tire rotation. I gave them the go ahead to do an oil change and a new air and cabin filters, but I wanted to get a second opinion on the rest. When I picked up my car, they had charged me $250 for an oil change and 2 new filters, which is absolutely outrageous. Today, I went to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion, who actually pulled me into the garage to show me that there was no issue with the sway bar that Suburban Automotive claimed was on the verge of breaking on the right side. This experience is similar to what other reviewers have said on Yelp: while this shop was trustworthy in the past, they have shifted to ripping customers off. If this is how you treat loyal customers, then you simply don't deserve to have any."

"Do you want the honest truth about your vehicle? Then call Suburban Auto! Just know, Danny & Mike both aren't much for talking on the phone. Once you're there, you'll learn a TON from Danny. My dogs LOVE walking over to pick up the car & their location is great for those who literally "run" errands (and it's right by Lively Athletics, another 5 star biz). It probably isn't the fastest garage in town, but you get what you pay for. I'll never let Jiffy-Lube change my oil again since we started using Suburban Automotive!"

"Went for an oil change, replacing a tailgate latch, and replacing snow tires with summer tires. Mechanic tried to upsell me 1100 bucks to replace breaks I didn't need replaced. Gave me my car without my snow tires back. Had to call to get my tires back and the mechanic tried to upsell me rims for 600 bucks on my car while getting the tires back. Also charges me 70 bucks for a cabin filter I didn't ask for. My car is driving fine and I commend the work done. But the experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I don't trust them not to try to rip me off."

"Battery change over charge sister by $175. Battery went dead within four months. Guaranteed battery, I’ve gotten no refund have been going around and round with Danny the owner for three months now. Always a promise, but never any performance on processing refund through AC. Delco always blames other guy. I’ll be glad to remove this reading if he honors his word! if he only comes through with returning the money owed via the refund."
