"This is the second time I've had work done at this place and had to bring it back. The first time was somebody did my brakes wrong. And they were pulsating they had to fix them this time my Transmission was leaking. They sent me home and it started leaking way bad and I couldn't drive it. I had to have a toad to them. They couldn't find a part they didn't really call me back. I kept calling them and just very frustrated. They shouldn't never let me leave with A leaky transmission, it could have damaged my car."

"Ignore these warnings at your own peril. Take your car somewhere else for service. If you’re thinking about purchasing a Hyundai, don’t."

"Drove 5hr one way to buy a BMW x6 and told, “Oh by the way the axle needs to be replaced” seriously people this isn’t a cigarette lighter kinda a big deal. Maybe they could have told us this the many times we talked the week preceding. Then we looked at the car and realize there was a lot more damage that wasn’t documented visually on pictures ie, dents and scratches to the metal. They did send 2 videos, but none had the bents and scratches (to metal) on the hood."

"The customer service seemed to be lack luster initially due to a dismissive attitude from the mechanics and a lack of communication. After a while, I felt they were providing good service and it seemed like they were providing me with a lot of information regarding an issue with my brakes within less than 12 months of having my vehicle. I got the work they suggested I get done at around a 300+ price point. Fast forward several months later, I get my vehicle serviced at another Hyundai Service Center and they inform me there’s no indication work was done by the looks of the parts on my vehicle and I was informed the earlier work should have been covered under Hyundai’s amazing 12,000 mile / 12 month warranty, but yet I was charged. So now I am paying for the same work again that Gurnee Hyundai should of done, and unjustly charged me for, at a different Hyundai dealership. Just be very mindful of any warranties you may have and what it covers because this specific location and their mechanics will try and finesse you out of your money."
